:lol: Uh oh, the "truther" witchhunt is in full effect! So let me get this straight. SSR says 'I h8 Pete Carroll because of his 9/11 thoughts!!!." I then say "ehh thats kinda dumb and who cares hes just apart of the many that share that thought process." That then evolves into a strange form of 2014 mob mentality on the interweb. "Lets all get in an e-kick on the truther witch guy!!!!!111" Really?

I love it, but I can admit that he probably didn't play at a Pro Bowl level the majority of last season.

I believe at least that many people believe in some type of inconsistencies. Not all truthers are going to be full on Loose Change toting lunatics. But it is enough of a reason for me to hate Carroll, particularly lumped together with the person we know him to be as a whole. That was my point, that a huge chunk of the population believe in the inconsistencies of the event. I must admit I'm mildly entertained at the coined phrase "truther" and a need to label a segment of people that believe differently then others. LOL @ bukie. That must be it! :roll:

FWIW all the NFL.com draft analysts have the Bears going DT with the 14th pick. Three of them have DT Timmy Jernigan and 1 has DT Louis Nix. I think they go safety personally, but who knows.

Oh yeah, I have an irrational hatred for Pete Carroll. [expletive] is a truther. I hope someone asks him what he thinks about 9/11 on media day so he's exposed to the whole country for the raging douchebag he is. You realize that the % of people that believe that 9/11 was a shadyass event is actually extremely high. I cant remember what newspaper did a poll on it, but it was something like 40%. That's not a reason for hating Pete Carroll. Sure it is, I easily hate more than 40% of the US Then you have serious issues and should seek help immediately.

FWIW I also don't see the Bears picking DT in the first round. I think they select a more impact playmaker then a DT. Safety, LB, CB or DE IMO.

Some guy, like a random caller with an idea, or some guy, like a new LB coach? A reporter type who seemd to have a clue. Don't remember the name. It was in the 11:00 hour if you want to look for it. This isn't just a rumor, Emery pretty much said that Shea is out of position and will be tried at Linebacker. The only position that he can most likely play is SAM. No, they could try him in the middle or at will. My preference would be to use him as part of a hybrid system in which he can line up anywhere. Bring him up into any gap or on the outside and let him chase the QB and do literally nothing else. Shea is NOT a MLB. He can't get off blocks and has very little instincts to began with. SAM allows him to blitz more and react quicker. Bears will re-sign DJ IMO and draft a MLB at some point in the draft. Will linebacker already has Briggs and then Bostic/Greene as his replacement.

I'd like to see Tillman return to be honest. I think he's got some good football left since he hasn't suffered any kind of lower body injuries that I know of. I think you re-sign Tillman and draft a young CB to add depth.

Holmes made some great points today. Emery has been making a trend with his picks. He's picking athletes and drafting then to change their position. Hardin, Erod, Shea, Long, Bostic etc

Great post. I'm pretty 'meh' on the Cutler deal. It's not like we had a top 8 pick or a backup worthy of starting over him. The Bears offense looks to be locked in and we need more talent on the defense. So it makes sense to re-sign Jay and devote attention to the D-Line.

Hub is such a negative POS. I think Mills and Long did okay based on this being a rookie year. It's not unreasonable to believe they'll get better with a full offseason. Hub [expletive] on them after dumping on Alshon at the start of the season
