  1. FWIW In Nolan Nawrocki's NFL Draft 2014 Preview, Fuller was the 31st-ranked player overall, the fourth-best corner and sixth-best defensive back. Overall I feel "meh" about this pick. Really surprised Emery had the balls to bypass Pryor and Dix.
  2. Lol 4 Safety's gone. This team once again will start the season with major question marks at Safety. I'm not too excited about the other ones left in the draft. brooks and Joyner could be a reach at 51
  3. I feel that more and more Donald is a product of the media hype machine. I too don't believe he's a top 10 talent.
  4. CB Gilbert CB Fuller FS Dix SS Pryor DT Donald DT Hagemen Those are my guesses. I threw Hagemen in there because he's a classic Emery guy. (Boom or Bust pick)
  5. It gives you a roll of the dice that you won't be able to get aside from wooing a big FA name to your team. Now if we're talking about a small market team like the Bucks, rolling the dice is the ONLY way that they can improve their chances winning a NBA title. What is your surefire answer?
  6. How is playoff rest viewed in hockey? Is a layoff a bad thing for a team that was playing well, or is it a good thing to be able to get rest and health back?
  7. Isn't that sort of the definition of NBA hell? Being better than a large amount of teams but nowhere near the elite? It absolutely is. The Bulls are a middle of the pack team, purely due to the brilliance of Thibs being able to coach up his teams. The team ranks dead last in scoring and just doesn't have the talent to compete with big boy teams. As long as he remains the coach, his teams will do well in the regular season but continue to be squashed in the playoffs unless some major change is done. He won't tank a season for a top 8 pick which is what the Bulls desperately need. Something has to give. They are definitely in NBA hell barring any major trades, although I am optimistic that GarPax sees what we all see in this team. Push the button.
  8. Nba hell for the foreseeable future. I'm glad this team is done with
  9. This is the greatest gif I've ever seen. Bravo to you sir.
  10. I think so. You gotta go secondary with 1 of the first 2 picks IMO. We have little to no corner depth.
  11. With the Raiders having a new QB, they're going to need to protect him and surround him with play makers. Raiders select WR Kelvin Benjamin
  12. Hossa has had some good shifts controlling the puck etc. Sharp has had chances to bury a puck and just hasn't finished. He'll break out of that slump in one of these next few games IMO
  13. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/04/24/upshot/facebook-baseball-map.html?_r=0#10,41.7495,-87.7957 Kinda cool. Breakdown of where the Cubs/Sox fans are in relation to the city.
  14. Annnnnd there's this..... http://deadspin.com/reporter-asks-patrick-kane-was-that-your-first-overtim-1566954476?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
  15. Huge manlove for Kane. That laser was nasty. I was stressed to the max about that OT
  16. I like the way things are setting up, although I'd rather play the Vikes/Lions earlier in the season due to having new staffs.
  17. Weeks 13-16 appear to be tough on paper at this point. Cant see the Bears beating the 49ers in Week 2 assuming the 9ers stay healthy, although a great test for our new and improved run D.
  18. All NFL players are strong for their size. Strength at this scale can't be properly determined by looking at photos. To have clear cut definition and a 'six pack' requires primarily above all a proper diet regimen which most players coming out of college fail to learn about and have. Every individual and body shape is different, but to see Shea still not have that in place after being a first round pick and having played already is confusing to me. Did you see my post where I attached pics of HOF and borderline HOF-players who don't have six packs? There is zero correlation between being a productive (never mind elite) NFL player and having a body shape that is pleasing to our society's completely unrealistic sense of what people should look like. Zero. I'm sorry but to have 18% body fat for a NFL DE/LB and to expect success is unrealistic. I'm willing to take the bet that most NFL players with 18% body fat won't achieve elite success. In a way I do feel for Shea because by all accounts he's a great guy who does want to succeed. But I had around 18% body fat a few years ago when I ate a shitty diet and just lifted weights. I cant fathom how an athlete would have that much body fat.

  20. how many years it'll take to fix our power play? Got a bunch of skilled all star players and can't score on a man advantage.
  21. What a bust of a pick. He doesn't even look like a NFL LB. NFL LBs are jacked.
  22. I'm ready to see some size added to this team. This feels like a complete beatdown
  23. According to USA Today, Bears are going to meet with DT Hageman next week
