  1. Oh my god. I didn't see the game...how the hell did this happen?
  2. Great TEs can be incredibly valuable too. Too bad Olsen kind of sucks.
  3. I think with the right coaching staff, this receiver unit could be good. Based on what?
  4. What's his contract, anyway? If they won't fire Lovie because they owe him a lot of money... I feel like that's exactly why they wouldn't fire him. The McCaskey's are cheap asses. No they aren't. Lovie, Urlacher, Briggs, Hester, and Tommie are all highly paid. They don't lose their own stars to other teams. Losing star players outright through free agency in the NFL is pretty rare because of the franchise tag.
  5. This is what you call finding a silver lining in a blowout.
  6. What a throw.
  7. They don't have faith in their defense and felt they could catch GB off guard with an onside kick, I guess. It was a crazy call but it was a yard from working. It's always a yard from working. Either a guy gets it 9 yards from the spot of the kick or a guy is one yard short from being able to grab it in the air before a defender can or it goes out of bounds 11 yards from the spot of the kick. I look at it like this. Onside kicks work IIRC 10% of the time so Tomlin was essentially saying he believes his defense had less than a 10% chance to stop GB from taking the lead. I think we can all agree Pittsburgh would have stopped GB at least 1 out of 10 times in that situation speaking hypothetically obviously. I didn't see the onside kick but a surprise onside kick definitely works more than 10% of the time. I'm sure this one qualified as a surprise. The 10% recovery rate is for the vast majority of onside kicks where everyone in the stadium knows its coming.
  8. None on offense. Briggs and Peanut on defense. Maybe Wale or Harris.
  9. Aaron Rodgers is a fantasy monster.
  10. Anyone still think the receivers aren't a horrible, horrible unit?
  11. It was obvious Mason was not very good. He was awful. You know what guys do? They respect your ability. You can be 90 years old, but if you can go out and play, they'll respect you. Mason was not only a guy, he was terrible. OK? There's no other way to say it. He couldn't kick the ball through the uprights.
  12. He has many "skills" problems. Terrible feet, inaccuracy, on top of being a dunce cap. He needs a coach that can build him up from scratch.
  13. Hester lost a fumble against the Bengals.
  14. So is the rest of the team. I prefer Great Taste over Less Filling. Your move.
  15. Jay Cutler is a loser.
  16. Was the pick Cutler's fault?
  17. If they wanted to show some true motivation they'd roll over and die and make it really hard to justify bringing Lovie back.
  18. He already threw a pick?
  19. http://www.gifsoup.com/view/109962/drose-o.gif
  20. Sweet, Vinny draws up two final plays that fail to even get the ball into Derrick's hands.
  21. Hey we're not getting blown out by the Hawks...yet.
  22. It probably has something to do with him never cheating and being one of the best coaches ever. Who bitched and moaned more than Bobby Knight when someone had the temerity to criticize his obvious, sociopathic behavior?
  23. When did Bobby Knight get a leg to stand in criticizing the behavior of other coaches?
  24. Gibson's been playing well off the bench lately. He's not a long term starter but he's a solid rotation player and that ain't bad for the 26th pick. James Johnson is the bigger concern. This guy needs to just work on his 3s or something and become a poor man's Rodney Rogers.
