  1. Horrible brain dead effort. Curry destroyed Rose. This road trip is going to be a disaster.
  2. Pargo is so brutal.
  3. Bush scored 8 TDs, caught 47 balls, and averaged 5.6 yards a carry this year. It's not like he came out of nowhere. Of course, they never gave him more than a handful of carries a game.
  4. Andris Biedrins is 0-10 from the free throw line this year. He's attempted 4 free throws in this game and none ever got over the front lip of the rim.
  5. The Warriors have 8 guys in uniform for this game. Their 3 bench guys are all from the D-League.
  6. It would've been, hands down, the biggest fight between the two best fighters since the Leonard/Hearns/Hagler/Duran era. The winner goes down as a top 5-10 greatest pound-for-pound of all time. I don't see what's sad about that. You put this fight 30+ years ago and you've got literally half the country following it. I still think this fight happens somehow. Maybe I'm just stubborn. These guys really excite you the way Leonard/Hearns/Hagler did? I'm amazed by that comparison. I'd pay to see those guys in their prime. Pac, yeah. Floyd is pretty boring, technically amazing, and plays a good villain. I mean, they don't excite me like Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward killing each other or anything but you've got to take their skills and place in history into account as well.

  8. Maybe the Bears can get Norv to be OC
  9. I would give just about anything to see SD get the ball back, drive down the field, and have Kaeding miss another one.
  10. This game is transcendent comedy.
  11. Nate Kaeding is canceling out all the good will Greene is building up for the Hawkeyes. lolllllll
  12. Shonn Greene owns. Did the LT celebration too. Wonder if Tomlinson will freak out about that after the game is over?
  13. http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/nightmarelard.jpg
  14. My ex is in Qualcomm wearing a Nate Kaeding jersey right now. I feel pretty good about that.
  15. I see the Chargers are giving LT his requisite carries early in the game so they can place him firmly on the bench where he can sulk. It's his natural position in the playoffs.
  16. Do you guys think Favre is "having fun out there" ?
  17. Whatever. You make it seem like common knowledge so I'm sure it'll come out one way or another. I just don't expect Plaschke to run with it. If you want unsubstantiated gossip and petulant douchery run in the LA Times you send it to TJ Simers.
  18. I'm sure Plaschke will put his neck on the line because of innuendo received from a "reporter" at the reputable Volsbitch.com
  19. I don't know what you would've seen in the last month or so that would make you doubt Rose "being the man." He's still not there yet but he's definitely taken a lot more responsibility. He's way more aggressive and selfish (in a good way) now. When he starts getting calls and maybe a serviceable 3 pointer he'll be deadly. I can see where you might think he won't be the unquestioned alpha dog on a championshiop caliber team but he's definitely a 1a type more than a second fiddle.
  20. I'm more surprised at McGwire taking steroids than I am at SSR nerd raging against Mark Grace.
  21. Yeah, he is similar to Curry. Although when he first started turning heads he was showing way more potential than Curry did as a rebounder, shot blocker, etc. And then he got hurt the first time and he hasn't really been that way since.
  22. Without delving into Toronto's cap situation my kneejerk reaction is that I'd rather let Bosh walk than take on Bynum's contract. I'm not really high on Bynum. He has a very nice post game, in theory. But he doesn't want to do anything that centers are supposed to do and he's injury prone. He's not a guy that shuts down the paint like he should be. Doesn't like to rebound much either.
  23. Kirk's been pretty good since moving into the starting line up. Salmons too.
  24. I just assume Charles is loaded any time I see him on TV. Bulls should be able to win tonight with the Celtics on a back to back and injured. Looks like they have no legs.
  25. Is Mike Riley a bigger name to USC fans than Lane Kiffin? I'm not even sure that Jeff Fisher and Jack Del Rio are bigger names than Lane Kiffin to many USC fans. Lot of 'em don't even follow the NFL. Kiffin's name is obviously a lot bigger than what his accomplishments on the field dictate but his name recognition among SC fans is sky high.
