It would've been, hands down, the biggest fight between the two best fighters since the Leonard/Hearns/Hagler/Duran era. The winner goes down as a top 5-10 greatest pound-for-pound of all time. I don't see what's sad about that. You put this fight 30+ years ago and you've got literally half the country following it. I still think this fight happens somehow. Maybe I'm just stubborn. These guys really excite you the way Leonard/Hearns/Hagler did? I'm amazed by that comparison. I'd pay to see those guys in their prime. Pac, yeah. Floyd is pretty boring, technically amazing, and plays a good villain. I mean, they don't excite me like Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward killing each other or anything but you've got to take their skills and place in history into account as well.
