  1. They ran a QB sneak on 1st and 10.
  2. Ohh Rodgers is gimping around.
  3. I don't think it was necessarily not an interception. Just weird as hell.
  4. That was a weird looking interception by Woodson. What the hell?
  5. Not a whole lot of offense today.
  6. Damnit Folk.
  7. I was joking about that.
  8. It's demoralizing to play against Oregon. [expletive]
  9. Also Asik did some nice things so when Taj gets into foul trouble like a moron you can plug him in next to Noah and not lose anything defensively. He's got the European flopping gene.
  10. JJ needs to be getting Scal's minutes now and eat into Deng's. He made a ton of energy plays.
  11. Charlie V with the dagger at the end of the 3rd. 0-2 !!!
  12. No one else can even get a look besides Deng blowing chippies. Korver and Brewer must not be healthy because we clearly need scoring and Bogans keeps playing big minutes.
  13. Wow we got Oregon to punt!
  14. SC blinked on the first drive by only getting a field goal. Oregon promptly scores a TD. Ball game.
  15. ND is losing to teams whose starters wouldn't even backups for them.
  16. The Curse of the Dead Videographer
  17. That's because Shaq only played 65-70 games each year while Durant played 82. It's a bad way of looking at it. Durant average 10.2 free throw attempts per game last year. Shaq had nine seasons where he averaged at least 10.2 free throws per game. Shaq averaged 10.5 free throws per game over his first 13 seasons. Ok. Between Kobe, Iverson, Lebron, and Wade they have never had a season where they took more free throw attempts than Durant did last year. That's 40+ seasons of NBA experience. Kobe had 1 year where he averaged 10.2 FTA a game and that was in 05-06 when he jacked up 27 field goal attempts per game (as opposed to Durant's 20.3 FGA per game last season). Iverson had a couple years where he was higher than 10.2 FTA a game but he was also playing upwards of 43 minutes a game (Durant was at 39.5) and he was jacking up 25 shots a game. MJ had 2 years in the 80s when he averaged more than 10.2 a game but he took wayyyy fewer threes (less than 1 per game), jacked up way more shots, and in an era when the pace and # of possessions were a lot higher. Now I'm looking at Lebron's #s and they are actually similar to Durant's in terms of field goal attempts, free throw attempts, and minutes. It's safe to say that Lebron and Durant are being officiated differently, justly or not, than basically any perimeter players to have ever played the game. And anecdotally, I can't believe that Durant's style of play is more conducive to drawing contact than a young MJ at his athletic and ball hogging apex, a young AI, or Lebron (althoug Bron does take a crap load of 3s).
  18. Basically the only thing you need to know is that he was in a brawl last year where he was was charged with assault and battery. Dantonio said that he was on a zero tolerance policy and had to stay away from alcohol. Months later he gets a DUI which violated his probation. Probation officer recommended 21 days in jail but he got a plea deal with an 8 day jail sentence. Apparently zero tolerance means lots of tolerance to Dantonio because the morning he got out, he was back on the field. Then Dantonio told Rucker that it's up to him whether he wants to play tomorrow or not. The kicker of it all is that he's again trying to use this move to speak to signify fighting through adversity. He keeps talking about how much harder this will be on Rucker and how this isn't the easy way out. And like NUN, he likes to say that the mistake shouldn't result in a lifetime banishment, ignoring that there's room in the middle. All of this while again trying to make himself the good guy for "being there" for his players. The only years MSU's program has done anything in the modern era are when they have steroid scandals or a coach who runs the dirtiest program in the league. Maybe if Iowa stopped hogging all the "smart, gritty" guys who "play the right way" other schools wouldn't have to resort to such underhanded tactics.
  19. Without knowing anything at all about the situation in question I'll just say I don't really have a problem with a player getting out of jail and being allowed to play right away. I thought it was pretty lame that Vick had to serve a suspension after spending 2 years in prison.
  20. No it doesn't. It just sheds some light on his very polished acting abilities.
  21. Shaq has had one year in his entire career where he's attempted more free throws than Durant did last year.
  22. There was one ridiculous play with a minute or two left where Westbrook lost control literally 10 feet away from the basket, flew into a guy in the restricted circle, and ended up shooting 2 FTs for it.
  23. At this point I'm a lone nut ranting about Kevin Durant's treatment from the refs but as OKC gets more and more national coverage it'll become apparent that he's the offensive version of Vlade Divac. KG and Phil already know what's up. OKC: 91 free throw attempts OKC's opponents: 42 free throw attempts That ain't right.
  24. I saw at least 3 or 4 fraudulent calls go against the Pistons when I turned the game on. It appears the prime directive from the league office is to put OKC on the map by giving them absolute trash calls.
