  1. Still time to go 0-for-2 and match Jim Hendry's 3-for-8. Eh, there's a slight difference in those 3-8's, even if it happens. Which it won't.

  3. From the words of Zobrist himself......SHOOT YEAH.
  4. Let's check in on how Kato's doing..... And there's your update lol
  5. Johnson has pitched extremely well for a couple of months. Its easy to see him being a contributor in next years pen. Hannemann is a nothing. Martin has experience, which likely means a bit to the guys calling the shots. And Davis' clubhouse stuff this month and in the playoffs, probably contribute as much or more than what Hannemann ever would as a major leaguer for us.
  6. Designating Hahnemann, bringing up Taylor Davis. Good for him. May he stare the horsefeathers out of all cameras.
  7. Thanks again Raisin! We appreciate the hell out of this forum. Oscar just pitched 1 inning. No idea why.
  8. Nunn finally put together a complete outing. He was excellent his last start until the 5th. But, he's of interest to me for sure. Lefties that throw mid to upper 90's are rare and he got to us very late in the season.....It'll be interesting to see what his off season entails.
  9. Well horsefeathers
  10. He's making 4.850 this year and is 3rd year Arb eligible next year. Granted, he's not even on the 40 man, so we'd have to offer him arb next year to keep his rights, I guess. Unless we got him to re-sign cheaper. Precursor to Almora in a JV off season deal?
  11. Well we don't have anyone even close to Franklin Perez in the minors so I don't see how a trade is feasible. Someone off the MLB team would have to go to compete with that. In his chat today, Law said he's heard from some that Alzolay can be a 2 or better....I guess it'd just come down to how Detroit evaluates him.
  12. And that's an indicator of his cost possibly.....
  13. https://twitter.com/Mike_Ferrin/status/903458805425557504 Lol
  14. I hope he uses his NTC.
  15. Because Fox is a moron. Shaw got hurt, Trubisky had to come back in(no idea why Sanchez didn't play BTW). And he calls a pass on the last play of the game.

  17. I think everyone's riveted by the chance Brandon Phillips could be dealt tonight. Processing that and/or the Bulls picking up Quincy Poindexter.....Lots to contemplate tonight, on top of how well Trubisky handed off 6 times in a row.
  18. [tweet] [/tweet] The article is solid, because its Brisbee. But, HOLY horsefeathers, look at how slow Pujols is. Lololololololol
  19. Can't help it. He's just too horsefeathering cool.

  21. would he be the best player in baseball if he had plate discipline? (i know he wouldn't actually be trout but it's crazy how he's good to very good at everything else With a bit of discipline, he turns into an elite guy, I'd say. And I figure that he'll eventually get to 7-8% walk rate, by pitchers trying to avoid him, at times.
