  1. COME THE [expletive] ON
  2. Oh, and Theo: He's pretty smart.
  3. 3 straight swings lol. Not much to say.
  4. I'm kind of wondering if Crawford could fall to us in the 2nd at this point. I asked Kiley, he said Crawford, Wahl, and Austin Wilson are all still top 30 guys though.
  5. Ah, cool. As for Keith Law, I've had it in my head for a while now-Wish we would hire him in some capacity. Or Parks. They give us much more true insight than any of the other guys. Maybe I should include Badler with them as well.
  6. Rammy, thanks for the clip. Was that first paragraph you posted Law talking about Gray? I'm not sure what his secondaries are supposed to be rated as, but I thought he had a plus slider currently, according to some reports? At any rate, he's got a hell of a lot of movement, seeing that clip.
  7. Every indication is they don't like Marmol, plus Rondon has looked much better for them recently. As for Soriano? Sure, they could use him. That said, they've got nothing in their system worth a damn, outside of Castellanos, who I can't see them parting with. Garcia is OK, I guess. Maybe they'd send us Porcello for Sori? I know some here can't stand him, but that'd be a very solid return, in my eyes. Probably too much of a return actually.
  8. I was there, too. Wish I would have been in Mesa instead. I'm going to the one in Vegas today, so hopefully that will be a good game. Mesa has Rizzo, Baez, and Soler in the lineup today. Good. That should make up for yesterday's D team lineup You've got the TV crew debuting today and Rob Neyer will be in the stands as well. His first time in the park.
  9. Shark is starting in Vegas, haven't seen a lineup.
  10. I was there, too. Wish I would have been in Mesa instead. I'm going to the one in Vegas today, so hopefully that will be a good game. Mesa has Rizzo, Baez, and Soler in the lineup today.
  11. I'm getting really close to putting him ahead of Manaea at this point.
  12. Didn't know you had gone down there, but damn, you picked out a helluva game to go to.
  13. Anything stand out on Soler? Most reports seem very encouraging, especially with the plate discipline, for as little game action as he's had over the past couplevof years.
  14. Trevor Williams with the weird(and bad) line of the night- 7IP, 13H, 9R, 7ER, 1W, 4K's on 101 pitches.
  15. Bundy's velo has dropped some this spring. Personally, I've got a hard time trading any elite hitting for elite pitching. Since Javy is ours, I don't want to deal him, partly because of how fun it COULD be to watch him. Take that away, Bogaerts and Taveras, along with Profar-I'd have a hard time turning any of them down, if I take the blinders off.
  16. You can have Francisco Lindor. Call me a battered wife. Hell, I'd take Javy over Profar at this point According to AZPhil, the 3rd baseman shook his hand rounding the bases on the walk off.
  17. Not necessarily. Every other team has laughed their asses off if thats true as well. If he wants to retire though, its a good strategy for him to stick to that.
  18. Kris Bryant's last 10 games: 18-34, 10 HR, 13W, with a .529/.660/.1.500 slash.
  19. Gray went 9, gave up 5 hits, walked 0, K'd 12.
  20. 6 K's, 1 hit allowed thru 5 for Manaea.
  21. Ziomek continues to prove we've got zero shot at him in the 2nd. He's perfect thru 5, with 4 K's. Gray continues his quest to make us consider him at 2, he's gone 4, 2 hits, no walks, 5 K's.
  22. OH HELL YES Finally we may have our own dickish offensive prodigy to bring up. WANT Yeah, thats all I'm actually getting at. Having a great dickish type would be phenomenal.
  23. Like I mentioned, I was kidding. But part of me does wonder how he'd do obviously. If this was the previous regime though, I honestly think there would be serious talk of him coming north right now. Definitely think he'd start in AA and up midseason, if he was remotely holding his own.
  24. See, I've heard some say Javy's hit tool could be Vlad-like. Lots of hits, just not a great OBP. At any rate, its encouraging he's seeing pitches currently. CP may have been as good or better, as I said, I really don't remember it THAT well.(certainly wasn't following minors nearly as close back then) but definitely think this regime handles Javy mhch better than prior one did with CP.
  25. Windle was sitting 91 in the 1st, Manaea 92-94. Up to 95 in the 2nd.
