    Thats possible too. Seems like we could get the same caliber of player at 10 next year that we'll get at 2 this year. May not be a clear cut 1 next year, if its not Rodon, but man, its much, much deeper. Supposedly the case with HS kids as well.

    Yeah, come up with some more, Kyle. This has been the best day we've had. Alcantara, with some pop, becomes a very exciting guy to me.

    Rodon gave up 5 in only 2 innings today. I think Cedaroth probably has passed him up at this point. Beede possibly as well.

    Yeah, I'm not worried about Soler's attitude either. As big a Javy fan as I am, obviously it'd be great if he showed patience. The pitching thing? It'd be stupid to argue that one. Maybe Vizcaino comes back strong this year? Thats it. Paniagua getting delayed really screwed us. If he's delayed another month or two, his season could be lost. We're waiting on Appel or Gray basically, unless we add one tgru trade.

    Nah, there's no way Kobe's done. Way, way, way too competitive for that. He'll make Rose sitting out all year look more assinine than it already appears to be.

    I'm a fan of Watkins. My main concern is if he'll hit enough to be an everyday guy, instead of the strong side of a platoon. That said, I do see him as a potential starter, even if utility guy is still more likely longterm. Hasn't he played a little CF at some point? Or its been talked about anyway. Whatever the case, I think he'll contribute more to the Cubs than Vitters will, over the course of time.

    Obviously not a Laker fan, but hate seeing this. D'Antoni is the Dusty Baker of the NBA.

    Brett went 0-3, but had his first no K game of the year at least.

    Honestly, I just follow players(and the ACC, mainly just UNC). That said, the Pac 12 has 4 teams in the top 25 and Oklahoma is the only team from the Big 12 in it.

    Appel went 8, gave up 7 hits, 3 earned runs, walked 2, K'd 7. Not his best obviously. Washington, as a team, was hitting .244 entering the game.

    Gray went 8, gave up 4 hits, 1 run(in the 1st), 2 walks and 10 K's. Was at 96 in the 8th.

    I can only assume something is haywire with their Twitter account- But the Smokies just tweeted Jokisch just hit 96 in the 9th inning.......If thats true, all I can say is WTF?(edit:Jokisch only went 6)Still that had to be McNutt that hit 96, right?

    Theo's reaction: "condemn the action, support the player". Soler very remorseful, didn't sleep last night. Evidently, something was said about his family he obviously didn't like.
