    Yeah, he's as reliable as anyone else. Probably more than most, if you really think about it. I'd love to keep Javy-he's been my favorite prospect since the "I'll do WTF I want" thing. But with what we have at 2B/SS/3B, it just makes it easier to move him if you get the right impact piece in return.

    Bowden says we're interested in them. Zobrist is due back Monday. Clippard hasn't pitching as well as his ERA says this year, but I'd love to find a way to nab one or both of them. On a separate(but I guess it could even make sense in this case), Heyman evidently mentioned yesterday that we've told clubs Javy and Vogelbach can be had.

    If you can extend Cueto, then I'd be all for it. If not, I'd try to use Javy as a piece to get a guy under control for at least a few seasons. I can't get Sonny Gray off my mind as to who I'd think we're going to make a serious push for. If we could get Chapman for McKinney, I'd jump at it.

    I guess it'd have to be a package type deal, that isn't able to be uncovered by MLB or the player has agreed to a deal prior to his stock rising. I guess it's at least possible.

    I'm leaning towards last years draft being the best out of the FO's tenure.

    That was just fun. Great outing from Hendricks and as was said a few posts up-it's awesome that Maddon/FO allow these guys time and show confidence in the kids.

    I think I'd be most excited if we go with an under slot bat again and load up on high upside arms in 2-5 or so, like last year. Personally, Benintendi scares me a bit, since this is his first big success and there's evidently at least questions out there as to whether his power holds up once he's using a wood bat.

    Reading back thru Kiley's and cross referencing-He had Amarista as new info. Possible he got his info on him after Jesse got his on that particular player. He also has Estivel as allegedly signing with the Rangers, assuming Jonathan Sierra and Yonathan Sierra Estivel are the same. I guess a bunch of this stuff gets pretty volatile, but in the past, I'd heard most agreements are air tight once made. Product of getting earlier articles on these guys, I guess.
