Murton getting benched again for lesser player

I wouldnt' compare him to Bobby Hill. Murton has had success in the bigs, for one, and also exhibits patience at the plate. However, he's looked absolutely awful thus far this season. He's taken some very weak hacks. I say if Floyd continutes to play well, then play him. The only problem comes in (Dusty couldn't grasp this concept) that when a guy like Floyd starts to slump, you put Murton in and visa-versa. -

Agreed. Truth is, I'm sick of hearing his name. Funny, I'm sick of hearing his voice I still don't understand all the Stone criticism... First off, his voice is annoying. It's nasal. And I personally don't like the way he comments on the game -- I feel like he's got a know-it-all attitude. "He's going to throw a slider here..." It just gets annoying. -

Moving from a baseball landmark and storied tradition because it "only has L transportation" and isn't surrounded by a prarie that can't complain about expansion would be a very, very bad idea. Keep the Cubs playing in Chicago, and keep the traditions alive -- among them, getting off the train and walking to the ballpark.

I mean, he does have a higher OBP when he's batting leadoff. It's probably because he sees more fastballs at the top of the lineup, but I'll take it.
