  1. at least PSU is semi-equipped to test MSU's terrible secondary in a way that OSU couldn't with their 50 QB draws today
  2. Heyward's led off the game 126 times in his career, with a .866 OPS i'd be ok with that
  3. eh, we barely escaped with wins vs. Minnesota, & Jordan Howard, so hard to be too bothered anymore by Blake O'Neill's greasy mitts in light of those breaks
  4. James Franklin has spent the whole game giving back all these gains with his hatred of touchdowns
  5. http://i.imgur.com/nva28et.gif
  6. i'm learning lots of new things though, for instance, the ribs are located below the waist
  7. the targeting penalty is like jazz; the refs kinda just make it up as they go along
  8. Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was me-me. I remember my wife laughing when I first used the word around her and correcting me. You guys should read a book once in a while. Start with "the selfish gene" by Richard Dawkins. Meme / gene. Pronounced the same. geh-nae? /bryce'd
  9. a couple hundred fouls called already in this Michigan-Xavier game...
  10. Gardner's one of the most selective hitters in the game, while Castro expands the zone with alarming frequency which is the main reason i could see us being interested in this but i really do hate watching Gardner play baseball
  11. He was nowhere near the worst pitcher in baseball last year. He had a 2.7 fWAR (39th in MLB), pitcher WAR... http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11111/111118857/4617709-shudder+gif.gif
  12. easy there, you don't even know what race i am
  13. probably the happiest year of his life though, because they tried OH HOW THEY TRIED
  14. This sentiment is so ridiculous. Samardzija was pissed that his team didn't try YEAH [expletive] THAT GUY!!! nobody was forcing him to say stupid things to make himself look like a meathead dimwit, and it's perfectly fine for some to be residually annoyed at the guy for those times he sounded like a meathead dimwit i'm not sure it's all that different than the universal Theriot hate on here
  15. This sentiment is so ridiculous. Samardzija was pissed that his team didn't try basically just lazied their way toward a 97 win season
  16. remember that one time he had a 2.83 ERA at the deadline and we traded him for Addison Russell
  17. he hit .333/.429/.613 throughout the minors with 88 BB & 129 K he'll always be the kind of hitter that can always offset enough the value hit taken by being [expletive] in the OF
  18. eh, Adam Dunn played in a time when teams played straight up and he was hung out to dry in his own cluelessness; now bench coaches largely have the ability to predict the future and tell OFs where the ball is going to be hit more often than not (convenient narrative)
  19. i suspect he'll be out of a job for more than 5 minutes
  20. i thought Rodgers looked OK but i'm guessing Davante Adams had money on the Lions; that might have been the most comprehensively terrible WR performance i can recall what was it, 64 yards on 18 targets and a flat-out drop of the 2-point conversion to force OT? edit: 79 yards on 21 targets; putrid.
  21. good to have you back, UM hoops
  22. i'm super psyched about this season, and my expectations are that U-M finishes the regular season as a top-10 team; i think we battle for B1G title, too John Beilein with a Michigan team that's talented and kind of experienced? what's that even like all i remembered from that game was thinking Alex Olah was going to be this year's Frank Kaminsky
  23. i do wonder if it makes them a less likely Heyward suitor (if they ever even were)
  24. if it all broke well and if he learned to field he would have been lefty Alex Rios
  25. Daniel Murphy hit .254/.284/.349 vs. lefties this year Matt Adams hit .190/.231/.298 vs. lefties last year both homered off Kershaw in the postseason VERDICT: http://beatingpancreatitis.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/crap-shoot-300x169.jpg
