  1. i like that Flyer wincing at the sight of Buff and allowing him the puck
  2. Marmol has as many K as Sabathia now, despite 41 fewer innings
  3. JJax is back to starting duties tonight, i guess
  4. Marmol and Mitre were pretty under-the-radar, too
  5. oh, Steve Phillips http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2010/05/steve_phillips_nats_should_tra.html
  6. Most for an NL reliever. that's more than SPs Johnny Cueto (55 IP), Randy Wells (56), Kuroda (59), Billingsley (52), Cain (59), Nolasco (58), Price (59), Burnett (58), Sheets (55), just to name a few he's so ridiculous
  7. Gordon's got an MLE of .240/.390/.440 down in the minors right now (25 games). i don't really know why he was demoted in the first place though, he was allowed just 12 games to prove himself, with which he hit well but with absolutely no luck (18.4%! BB rate & .227 BABIP despite 26.1% LD). i'd happily give them Colvin and Silva.
  8. Hossa that's what i was alluding to, i was curious if he was the first
  9. i wonder if there have been any players who've played in 3 straight cup finals with different teams before
  10. was that Boyle putting that in?
  11. this is pretty much as bad as Hanley's dawdling, if you ask me http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=8250511
  12. haha, you really couldn't, he whistles when he talks
  13. furthermore, FIP has both Gorzellany and Wells as being top 10 starters in all of baseball so far
  14. Joe Mauer: .344/.410/.500 Starlin: .375/.434/.500
  15. i think that's code for 'taking a bite out of him'
  16. Right, and neither was Geo. unless Wikipedia is lying to me, Soto was drafted
  17. well, Starlin wasn't actually drafted
  18. well one slight problem is before the year we also assumed a 3.80 ERA and tons of innings and AB from Z
  19. that one where the uppity fan got stabbed
  20. If this guy has a meteoric rise and gets to play at Wrigley, the press is going to have a field day. i can't stand how everybody calls him Darlin' Darlin
  21. wow, epic bitch fit in this thread, even by truffle's standards
