  1. Sanchez looks absolutely awful today, he's perceiving pressure when there isn't any and airmailing tons of throws
  2. because he's awesome at everything he ever does.
  3. Burleson!
  4. Dear Josh McDaniels, Thanks for Alphonso Smith. Love, the lions
  5. hahaha, Hanson got hurt on a FG try so Suh ended up trying the XP and bonked it off the post
  6. Pettigrew!
  7. and he DIIIIIVES oh, gussie
  8. [expletive] YEAH, MICHIGAN
  9. Unless he's really fallen off and I haven't noticed, Jerod Mayo. And what Belichick's done is take a chance on young, very talented players and it's paid off. Hernandez and Tate just needed a shot and the system fits their talents well. It really has been a good job by Belichick, though they've also gotten some luck this year. i realize i might put too much stock into them for teams/players i haven't seen a lot of, but PFF rated Mayo as the worst ILB of the past week, and has characterized him as having a very up-and-down season:
  10. a couple of random thoughts: - i see Carolina, Buffalo, Dallas upsets this week - is this Belichick's best coaching job ever? who's even the 2nd best player on that team? Brandon Spikes, maybe? and Brady's not the 1/1A best QB with Manning he used to be anymore, either
  11. I love it....everyone called me insane when I suggested Michigan wouldnt make a bowl when they were 5-0. They told me this year was different than last year and UM was better. Now it comes down to beating Purdue, a team we lost to last year at home. I say its about 50-50 we beat Purdue, thus about 52% chance we make a bowl go tell it to your Maurice Taylor jersey, weirdo
  12. on the flip side, how did Penn State's anemic offense and terrible O-Line win a shootout with Michigan? I didn't see a single snap of the game That's easy. They ran 35 counter plays that Michigan got faked out on every time. Then they ran 15 rollout passes that saw every Penn State receiver open by 15 yards. Your walk-on QB had over 250 yards passing. our defense had absolutely no answer for their chop blocks or screens, it was the dumbest [expletive] ever i want to like Rich Rod, and i still do, but the defense is such an abomination it's hard to have faith that he'll ever be able to fortify it
  13. 5 wins in your last 47 games and cocky enough to talk about 4-3 teams being inferior to you. Typical Detroit sports fan. I am starting to come around on the Lions though. It's not even the offense that's impressing me, it's the defense not giving up 500 yards and 40 points a game. even a cursory look at point differential is well enough to determine who the better team is, if you haven't seen more Redskins football than you care to have watched (which i unfortunately have, they're super god awful) Typical umfan post.
  14. i'm biting my tongue...
  15. Stafford actually looked pretty shaky despite the 4 TDs, missed a lot of open throws love how the Lions played today, except kick coverage of course, we beat an inferior team like we should
  16. lions, [expletive] yea!
  17. the only two games that are unwinnable are @GB, @IND and @PHI, unless they're in a situation where they can rest their starters
  18. Kitna and especially Romo are much better than you guys are making them out to be Dallas has way too much talent to finish with fewer than 5 or 6 wins
  19. neither the Lions or the Cowboys are going to be in the top 5, come on i wouldn't be surprised if neither are top 7, either
  20. a decent recap of the game, fwiw
  21. It's his deal. Back to the officiating that was just horrendous all game. They didn't call a hold all game, right? At most it was one. They blew the TD to Quarless but Childress still blew it by not challenging it when he should have. The back judge was standing 5 feet from Percy in the end zone and he wasn't even close to getting his right foot down. It was just terrible all around. The officiating was bad, but it wasn't any worse than the calls in the Dallas-Minnesota game. The only difference is this time the calls went against the Vikings rather than for them. or Favre's numerous turnovers that were negated by ticky-tack penalties (Suh touching Favre's head, Houston's within 5 yards illegal contact, to name just a couple) in the Lions game they'll need a lot more bad calls coming their way before they're "even"
  22. the league mandated Favre make as many ill-advised passes as possible too, i'm sure
  23. well, aside from the 10 play drive they had at the beginning of the game. no, you're wrong, learn to read
  24. wow, the Raiders are up 21-0 and the Broncos have run just 2 plays on offense
