your post was just a misguided dismissal, he wasn't in a "system designed to spread the ball around" last year, at all, and he still enjoyed reasonable success -

if you think it's a QB's dream to have your primary options be Brandon Lloyd and Jabar Gaffney, i don't really know what to tell you he also fared well last season without spreading the ball around
