  1. luck would have been the FS so we could take it out of Stanton's hands and just punt the ball
  2. just jump forward and get that first, Nate
  3. i'd probably call a 54 yarder from Gould a "break"
  4. yeah, gameday has him credited with just 2.5 somehow, McBride ended up credited with the sack where Cutler fumbled
  5. up to 4 now
  6. Avril with his 3rd sack of the game
  7. then we follow it up with such a stupid series for play calling -obvious run right up the gut -bootleg pass play to the left (not Calvin's side of field), scramble -TE screen
  8. AVRIL
  9. he turned D.J. Moore into a pez dispenser
  10. CALVIN
  11. these lions are playing absolutely desperate even though it would benefit them to loseyou understand how asinine this is, don't you? Stanton and Rayner, just to name a couple, have zero long term job security and are very much desperate. they obviously don't care about Patrick Peterson or whoever
  12. i wouldn't object to Logan being our full-time RB
  13. oh god, personal foul, illegal use of the dougie
  14. "that guy's got ability...from the waist down..." creepy
  15. haha Stanton, i've missed you
  16. [expletive], i had really liked him as a 1B option i just really hope we don't give a fat deal to Konerko
  17. 60 goals in his last 81 games, playing primarily on a line with Kunitz and Pascal Dupuis. amazing. Stamkos instead gets St. Louis feeding him passes he's masterful in the faceoff circle too, and has really improved his defensive play, he's the best player in hockey
  18. That's some kind of insane excuse. Why does Burleson care about attendance? Is there a bonus in his contract if the Lions draw a certain number of fans? Does part of his job involve working in marketing? He said some stupid [expletive] now, just like he said stupid [expletive] on the Seahawks. Burleson didn't do this because of the Lions...he did it because he wants those cameras to be pointed at him. Burleson's on the radio every single week having to say the same exact [expletive], "trust us, we're improving, we're working hard, best days are ahead of us, future is bright" for like 3 straight months. he's not specifically worried about attendance, but he talks to all the same fans calling up asking the same questions, trying to inspire hope or confidence, it's the same dumb rigmarole repeated ad nauseum easy to figure why he felt like mixing it up every team in the avenue of professional sports has idiots who say things they can't back up. willy taveras said he was going to steal 100 bases last year, that's just indicative of him being an over-confident athlete rather than emblematic of some collective franchise-wide divorce from reality or whatever the [expletive] your dumb ass narrative actually is
  19. even for you, this is just the dumbest [expletive] ever think about it, it's not like the Lions have a great success at drawing fans, they have to halfway figure this is some innocuous way of instilling a modicum of interest into otherwise meaningless affairs it's pretty [expletive] weird to catalogue a list of it though
  20. well, this does lend credence to the secret agent theory
  21. hm, i wonder if he injured his finger during the same play a Patriot tried re-breaking his arm
  22. well this just made my [expletive] day
  23. if you dilute the pool by using the arbitrary qualifier "all-around" LB then Briggs obviously fares better, but i'm not sure what purpose that serves for the argument are Harrison and Ware's roles that much different than that of Matthews, Wake? none of these guys are really asked to do much in coverage, for good reason: they terrorize QBs (and RBs)
  24. currently?, Timmons, Willis, Hali, Wake and several other arguables
  25. i think we probably give up at least 28 pts this week
