i meant to address this the other day, but this is a [shadow=red]terrible[/shadow]argument unless you believe Gambler's Fallacy simply does not apply to baseball which is admittedly something i have wondered on occasion
One of two moves he told me he was hearing... sounds like it's about to happen per Gordo fwiw. Not really a surprise move though either. omg did he also tell you we were drafting Ian Happ???
Rizzo 8th in baseball (8.5) and Bryant is 11th (7.5) for full-season fWAR pace Castro 9th-worst, surrounded by star names (Utley, Ortiz, Kemp, Zimmerman, Hanley, Cano, CarGo)
for his Cubs career: 28 GS, 2.89 ERA, [glow=red]0.97 WHIP[/glow], 1.6 BB/9, 8.8 K/9, 3.09 FIP, 3.10 xFIP, 3.8 fWAR how about a lifetime contract for The Boz
http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/page/franchise150605/espn-mlb-franchise-player-draft i'm such a terrible sucker for these Moncada 16th is outrageous btw
last month has seen us with the worst bullpen xFIP in baseball, and no other bullpen has controlled the strike zone worse http://www.flexiblesystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/iStock_000020080991_ExtraSmall.jpg
his last month stats are grotesque, but if you look at just the past two weeks i guess he's had about as dominant a 4+ innings as you can have with 3.86 K/9 if he can keep up that 0 HR/9 and .071 BABIP up long-term, he'll probably even be useful!
