    Another reason why we need instant replay in baseball. Lou walking out to argue will take as much time as it takes to review the call.

    The current state of the market really tilts the playing field towards Cuban. Really hard to get capital/credit right to make deals right now if you don't have the money already (like Cuban does).

    Yeah, you're assuming that a great reliever is automatically a great starter, which isn't the case. A crappy starter can be a great reliever, and even some great starters might be crappy relievers.

    Fukudome threw it in to try and catch weeks, the throw was wide, Weeks slammed into Soto when he was on the basepath and knocked him over, with the ball going to the backstop. Soto couldn't have caught it anyway because Weeks tackled him.

    Good lord that's a lot of failed drug tests...how in the world are they still playing? What I was told is that there is no mandated policy from either the Big Ten or the NCAA on how to handle discipline for recreational drugs. According to the letter of IU's athletic policy they should have been gone a long time ago, but obviously Sampson was able to bend the rules.
