That's certainly the case. I'm just curious if it's penetrated the local, non-sports zeitgeist. The classic trope of if your mom or someone who doesn't care about sports wants to talk about it. No. But everyone is a sounders fan. So you've got sounders fans and you've got people who don't know sports exist. It's huge in group A and doesn't register in group B. I'd love to take my son to a game but he wouldn't be able to handle the intensity at least as I understand it. I think it'll only be worse now. I know the very basic rules of soccer but I don't know anything about the league rules, schedules, player contracts etc. Just got a new client that was awarded a NASL team so he's pretty pumped.

I've always thought of manziel as a victim of the media. He's tried to lay low and keep to himself for the last 8 months but they just won't let him.

Nor is there a real life equivalent to keeping 10 guys on the same team due to totally arbitrary rules.

I like the league as it is. I'm not interested in wholesale changes. There doesn't seem to be a single team or two that has dominated. Tim and Adam seem to be near the top of the standings most years based on the results available at CBS, but there's a fair amount of change among the contenders year to year. So it seems that the current structure allows for balance among the teams. I'm just not seeing the strong need to change.

Also, Georgia loses their whole defense and starts the year at #5? Ok... They play @Clemson and USC (not to be confused with Southern Cal) to start the season. Methinks their top-5 status will be short lived. LSU in week 4 may put their top-25 status in jeopardy before they get out of September.

May not matter unless there are teams working deals till the last minute. If today is the draft order cutoff, we should note the standings now to make it easier. I couldn't remember if abuck made that change or just threatened to.

2 things: 1. Is our trade deadline 4pm Eastern or midnight? 2. Is today still the date on which draft order is set or did abuck change that rule he loved so much? Want to know if I should give another thought to throwing the rest of my matchups for better draft position.

I doubt it. Probably has other responsibilities too but that's a medium ripe for violations of team, school, and NCAA rules. I'd be surprised if most teams don't do this
