  1. Y! with a story of payments to a few SEC players including DJ Fluker who admitted to taking money while in college last April only to later claim that his twitter had been hacked.
  2. Are you suggesting that a school like Penn state could get thru a gauntlet like Syracuse, E Michigan, Central Florida, and Kent State - all at home BTW, widely considered one heck of a tough place to play, Happy Valley is - you're telling me they could come out of that unscathed and then go to a place like Bloomington which is just an incredible college sports town, and knock off the Hoosiers? You want me to believe that there's a chance in hell that the Nits could get thru those 4 brutal games at home, take just one bye week, and then beat Indiana on the road? Do you realize the Hoosiers won 5 games in 2010 and then 5 more, total, in 2011-2012? When's the last time PSU won in Bloomington? 2011? Ha. Yeah, good luck out there on that ledge Humpty. I'll believe when I [expletive] see it.
  3. Proposed Rule Change: sneaky quit whining about [expletive] everything in this league
  4. How do you determine which is your most important league?
  5. This is one of the best things about this coast. This, the weather and the people
  6. Let's be honest, the LA Mt Rushmore would never get finished b/c everyone would show up late and leave early.
  7. So, uh, Illinois is up 14-0 right now. Vegas knows stuff. 21-0 now. getting some homecooking too
  8. I'd be pretty upset to see Rizzo become like Grace the person He hit on my 15-year-old sister when we asked for an autograph in a restaurant during ST about 20 years ago while my dad sat a few feet away. Fun times.
  9. Organized baseball isn't that expensive. Depends on the league fees but a glove is like $15-20 for a kid. I wouldn't call it prohibitively expensive, esp if we're saying football is not.
  10. in some of the country that's true At only some income levels. Organized baseball is cost-prohibitive compared to soccer and football. Wait what. Organized baseball is more costly than organized football? Are we talking flag football? Clearly soccer is the cheapest. But baseball is also pretty cheap for young kids.
  11. Skip Bayless apparently did the same thing today only added a reference to bubba smith - who played for msu. ESPN is in full promo mode. Facts are even less relevant now.
  12. Somehow we missed a week. But rosters locked effective Sunday, 9/1. Moves made after 9/1 will be undone after the season (as I understand it). abuck and rodelo battle for the right to eliminate me from my first RK playoffs.
  13. Sucks that they randomly did away with MNF this week We can only hope. MNF is the worst. Tirico and Gruden are solid.
  14. I love ESPN. Mark May claimed he grew up watching ND v Michigan in upstate NY. But Mark May was born in 1959. Notre Dame and Michigan didn't play from 1943 until 1978. Mark May was a player at Pittsburgh in 1978. Oops
  15. badminton? cycling? My son and I have played some pretty [expletive] entertaining badminton
  16. NOTRE DAME It's just a Fig Thing
  17. Hey, at least we're not as dumb as those SEC schools http://i.imgur.com/OaOYaGJ.jpg
  18. Hey we can't all walk from church right to a football game. Take what you can get.
  19. Urban Meyer is still an [expletive].
  20. You're going to argue that SEC teams play a hard OOC schedule? Sure some of them play 1 good or better OOC game but that's not something to get excited about.
  21. It is if you want a bye week in Nov and the polls never penalize you for it.
  22. I almost wish tadow were around now. Almost.
  23. You correlate hockey with concussions and then defend college football? That's smart. SEC quality education at work. Lol
  24. Is he the guy that blew a tackle in the backfield to allow the 3rd unanswered TD?
