  1. No one has ever confused me for happy go lucky. But I can't imagine every step I take in life thinking to myself "welp, one step closer to the grave." It sucks to have a FA decide to play for another team but [expletive] a people. We were driven into the ground by bad ownership and a bad GM for a long time. We've shown a willingness to spend on big FAs. We're in a better place and will be much better before long but Theo can't just flip the switch to on and fix the franchise.
  2. You guys still don't deserve Theo. None of you are invited to the WS parties.
  3. Ok. If you want to discuss politics, stupid or otherwise, take it to the politics thread. If you want to take about how much of a jackass pete carroll is, well, carry on.
  4. I've always thought that PATs should be a little more like the Assault event http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/images/reviews/76/full/1249240916_3.jpg
  5. I know what it means. But POS seems pretty extreme. You're the first one I've heard refer to him like that (other than the psychos on deadspin)
  6. POS?
  7. Dickerson can be kept in the minors b/c he hasn't had 200 MLB ABs yet, yes. Ross is out of exemptions; for pitchers an exemption is 5 starts or 10 appearances: 2010: just 2 starts, but 26 appearances 2011: 6 starts 2012: 13 starts 2013: 16 starts
  8. His column in MMQB today is pretty great
  9. Lol
  10. People who think Sherman is a thug based on that rant were just waiting for the black man to do something that they could call thuggish
  11. No it doesn't. DS exists entirely for page views these days
  12. That's on your side of the sound. Keep it there.
  13. I've only lived here for four years, but I don't know a single runaway or heroin addict I've only visited four or five times and my only guess is you've never been outside. where are you meeting these socially awkward runaways on your visits? If you're downtown, you're certainly seeing a ton of homeless people, but I've walked through and around downtown for two and a half years and I haven't been pestered nearly as much as in Chicago or NYC. (and I assume the Seattle homeless are socially awkward relative to the homeless in NY, who are clearly socially aware when they beg for money and food)

  15. I've only lived here for four years, but I don't know a single runaway or heroin addict at jersey's salary level, he was probably living in westlake park playing chess all day
  16. i'm gonna have to go ahead and call bull [expletive] on this, m'kay. That's been around a while. Sherman thinks Harbaugh badmouthed him before the draft and that's why he fell so far. I think they even talked about it during the game last night. Who knows. Wouldn't surprise me if Harbaugh did b/c he's a vindictive brat and Sherman had been begging to switch to defense almost since Harbaugh got to Stanford. But Sherman probably fell 5 rounds b/c he was a mediocre college corner for 2 years. This is the same brash attitude poodle pete's teams had at USC. He lets guys do whatever they want and say whatever they want. It [expletive] works, as much as I want to punch him in his cocky [expletive] face every Sunday.
  17. There is a higher % of hipsters in Chicago than Seattle
  18. I want my roided out freaks to be more eloquent 10 seconds after sending their team to the SB. Sulley - Sherman's a man after your own heart.
  19. que? I think it was GR who was claiming as much several months ago. Well not at this exact moment. When the seahawks are SB bound, yes, they are quite popular. How were they when Clint Dempsey showed up? Insane. But not this insane

  22. He didn't write it.
  23. It's hard not to smile when Tom Brady gets thrown to the turf like raggedy ann
