brought this up last week and raised it again with Brian just now. In addition to Rutledge, who has exceeded the minors cap, he's got Grimm in the minors when he exceeded the minors cap last year.

I saw Peterson was a FA and picked him up thinking someone had over-drafted. But IMB drafted Peterson and forgot to add him to his roster. So I sent Peterson back to him today. Just to clarify the trade that just went through.

When the points are sorted out, I'll be 1-1, which will help my team's confidence. Tough match-up again this week against the 2nd highest scoring team. Hope Adam LaRoche remembers that he's Adam LaRoche here quick.

I moved Olt to the minors yesterday when I put Wong back in. Bc CBS is stupid, it put Olt on my bench instead of the minors so I didn't get any points yesterday. I should have 76 points from yesterday

Ok. I'm pretty sure we didn't get an illegal roster warning for having an extra guy on the bench last year after it came up a few times and points had to be fixed, but maybe I'm wrong. You don't seem to like having to adjust points after the fact, but I don't care how you prefer to handle it.

First - does Raisin know his roster is illegal and he hasn't gotten points for several days? Second - like prior years, we need to tweak the settings so you don't get an illegal roster notice (and penalty) for having too many players on your bench. As long as only 19 are active, then you should be able to have all 19 on your bench if you want to. As in prior seasons, teams often want to have fewer than 7 pitchers in the starting lineup to avoid an unfavorable start or going over 7 starts. Right now, that's considered "illegal" by CBS when it isn't.

Actually, it's tough. Technically, he made the roster for the first two games down in Australia and got an at bat. He was sent down after that. Yeah, I don't know what the ruling should be. Those games weren't part of our season. And he only made the roster b/c Crawford wasn't ready to come off the DL, so now he's going to start our season in the minors. But he played in a major league game.

At least he doesn't have any extra players. He just needs to move guys to the DL and add some FAs, right? imb on the other hand, has a fucked up roster. He's got 25 active players and 6 prospects. Looks like at least 2 of his active players will start in the minors, so he could be at 23 and 8. But he still has 4 extra major league players, unless I'm missing other guys that can be put in the minors.

Did we get a ruling on whether Tim gets to keep Guerrero or whether he goes to waivers? He was taken in the pro draft and didn't make the 25-man roster out of spring training.

We should change the settings back to 19/10 so teams aren't confused as to how many roster spots we have (and so the red YOUR ROSTER IS ILLEGAL language will come up at the top of your team page). Presumably there's a deadline for having legal rosters? Sunday?

If the season starts on the 22nd and those games count, we need rosters legal pretty quick. Should make teams drop players with enough time for them to be added for those first games. Or are the games in Australia not going to count b/c it'd be such a short/weird week?

No. There will be FAs after the draft. Teams are going to be dropping players to get down to 19 active. Can we make it a lot shorter time period for each pick and end it after this round?

Yup. He loses Gallo unless he starts the year with the MLB team (which I realize isn't going to happen)

Can we stop at 11 and do the prospect draft? There are several teams that are going to have to drop some players to get down to 19 active and 10 prospects. So it'd be good if that was done before the season starts.
