    I agree swing hard, but not every pitch in the sequence. Hes been looking like bad Soriano at the plate lately. He's also been robbed of 2-3 HRs the last 2 days by the giant park that is Petco.

    Try an education website. My wife brings home magazine subscription stuff all the time from the middle school she teaches at. It's a national program that I'm sure you could find with a little googling.

    I still hate Todd Hundley more than any other Cub I definitely hate Dusty more. He's cost us the best years of Prior and Wood's careers, costing the Cubs by far more games than Marquis will and probably bringing about the need for Marquis.

    Hudson sounds like Ryan Theriot the outfielder. Question for those who are more aware of the college game: How does power typically translate from college to the pros?

    They used Ankiel to start the inning, so all they had on the bench was Kennedy, Ryan, and LaRue. They were kinda hosed no matter what. Down here they're bitching about LaRussa letting Schumaker hit in the 8th against a lefty with guys on 1st and 3rd. Probably a bad move considerin he's hitting .208 this year against lefties.

    It does occasionally become annoying to watch Soriano roll over outside pitches and ground out to the left side.

    Since it wouldn't have been a force out though, the run would have scored. (Bases were loaded right?) But it would have been a force out, wouldn't it? Not after the runner was forced at 1st. Becomes a tag play and the run counts as long as it's across the plate before the 3rd otu. Freakin' Edmonds trying to make us like him.
