  1. That's simply not true. Most of them it's because they don't have a quality 3rd pitch to be a starter. He's being a smart-ass. If finding relievers is so damn hard then why do the same few organizations always seem to have good ones? And if our guys are so smart, how come our bullpen's been a crater of awful for 3 years? Because most teams don't have utter garbage in their upper minor leagues for 3 straight years.
  2. That's simply not true. Most of them it's because they don't have a quality 3rd pitch to be a starter.
  3. Should be a walk off on about the 3rd pitch here.
  4. Apparently Carpenter is getting the veteran treatment in his 2nd [expletive] year because he's gotten that twice now in this game where there was an inside corner pitch that was a strike and not called.
  5. After Veras' display the other day there should have been somebody throwing as soon as Yadi got on base. Renteria is [expletive] baaaaaad.
  6. He's gonna walk in the [expletive] tying run with nobody warming up. [expletive] me.
  7. Renteria's unwillingness to have somebody warming up right now is maddening too.
  8. Considering he can't hit the broad side of a barn right now, I'm not willing to chalk it up to bad luck.
  9. This team would have been better off without any FA other than Bonifacio. Rosscup instead of Wright and Parker instead of Veras. This just sucks.
  10. Yeah, I'm already done with Renteria. All the bunting, the steal last inning, 4 lefties in a row in the lineup, just a whole lot of basic stuff he's doing wrong.
  11. Well, yeah, but you're also putting the hitter in a tough position of often having to swing at a pitch he's not comfortable swinging at, which is why I'm particularly against doing it with Castro right now who is re-figuring out his happy zones.
  12. After it was already 3-0 they just put him on.
  13. As well as he's swinging the bat right now, you just let him do his thing and don't screw up his timing with a hit and run.
  14. Nothing like running into outs with one of your best hitters at the plate. So stupid.
  15. Thanks for the extra 5 pitches he had to throw there blue.
  16. infield fly is only 1st and 2nd or bases loaded Huh, I didn't realize that. I thought it was if there was a force at any base.
  17. Shouldn't that have been called infield fly rule anyway?
  18. 38 pitches thru 3 innings is damn impressive for a guy who doesn't have it tonight. Imagine what he could do if he was on!
  19. He's a butcher. I saw hin in person one time in Peoria a couple years ago and it was ugly. He had Baez at SS next to him so the left side defense as a whole was decent, but he booted a couple routine balls that night and just generally looks pretty awkward out there.
  20. You wonder why people give you a hard time when you post stuff like this? Come on, Jackson is a good player, the entire pen outside of Wright and Russell have pretty high upsides, and Lake and Olt have solid potential. It's just moronic to make posts like this that have zero basis in reality.
  21. Everybody here thought it was a cheap pickup that was pretty unnecessary.
  22. Yeah, I'm definitely done with Russell. Can Rusin or Rosscup be the loogy now?
  23. One less inning than I'd have liked to see, but that's another great day for Wood.
  24. Didn't they play close to .500 ball for a really long stretch between the Rizzo call up and the trades in 2012? Wasn't it signing Gregg and trading Garza?
