Screw around with his hitting approach and watch him struggle all year? I was more under the impression that they basically told Starlin to be Starlin this season and he's gone back to the player we knew and loved. I think they have told him that, but I think he picked up some valuable tools last season. His power has definitely come with him maturing and filling out, but I think his approach is a lot better than it was even in his best season. He's probably not ever going to walk a ton, but it looks to me like he's using a better approach to get himself into more favorable counts now. If he hits .290-.300 with an OBP of .340 and hits 20ish HRs every year, that's a hell of a valuable (and cheap) SS.
