  1. Saw that earlier today. Pretty funny in general, but anything to troll Dan Snyder is fine by me.
  2. same exact situation, but ESPN's tiebreaker is H2H so i got left out in favor of a team who scored 250 points fewer because of a 5-point loss in W1 not thrilled about that Same [expletive] happened to me, except I got bumped by 2 teams that I had outscored significantly. And I'm working on 3 out of 4 weeks being the high score in my league. Go Leveon Bell!
  3. You're more screwed in this scenario if one of your top three gets shelled though.
  4. Wow, that's impressive.
  5. Quit shooting 25 footers with no one there to rebound.
  6. Rice needs to remember what a pass is. A little shoot happy right now. Had Hill open on the out of control drive and that 3 was way too quick.
  7. I almost did this too and then had the thought that it's the Bears defense, Bush is out, and he's bound to have at least a half decent day. Glad I did. Also, scored the most points in my league today with Jimmy Graham in my starting lineup and putting up a zero. Without a doubt my worst first round pick ever.
  8. Going back to college seems like an awful lot of work when a pro team will pay him a lot of money, too. Not many coaches go back willingly when they could be drinking on an off day instead of kissing some adolescent's ass. Yeah, but if you have the attitude that he does, you tend to wear out your welcome quickly and you can get away with that when you're recycling an entire set of players every four years. I have a feeling that's why Saban went back.
  9. Joique Bell, Sankey, or Blount.
  10. Why are you so gullible? That's revealing nothing. Give me a name or it's a mindless rumor. you're funny You spelled dumb wrong.
  11. This may be the least surprising post I've ever read.
  12. Well the Rams just got completely screwed on a phantom holding call where they returned the punt to the SD 3 yard line. May well cost them the game.
  13. PSU can't even beat Illinois so we can get rid of the stupid coach. You should feel bad.
  14. So Jameis pushing the ref is inexcusable, but the ref was in the completely wrong place. He's supposed to be standing over the ball, not behind the center.
  15. Nope. Yes! Nope. In an argument like this, completely ignoring facts makes you the biggest douche possible, with no one else on the other side of the argument even in the discussion, regardless of how much of an ahole they may come off as.
  16. Exactly, there's plenty of good things going on, but the failure to execute when necessary to put points on the board is the big issue. That's not nearly the same thing as using wins as a measure of anything.
  17. Well, they only scored 21. If you want to talk overall outcomes, they won the game. Have you gone back to measuring a pitcher's worth by the W column? This is a terrible argument even for you.
  18. You'd think it'd be easy to develop a runs saved per chance stat with all the insane math that the SABR crowd uses.
  19. Lots of discussion about Heyward being a platoon guy with Grichuk on St. Louis sports radio this afternoon. Mozeliak also wouldn't answer a very straightforward question about it when asked. I would bet that if that happens it all but guarantees he doesn't stay here after this season.
  20. Somehow, this doesn't surprise. For several reasons. http://thoughtcatalog.com/madison-moore/2014/03/20-bartenders-reveal-what-your-drink-says-about-you/
  21. This may be one of the dumbest things you've ever said. There a tons of Hawks fans who are my age (38) that have loved them since the early to mid '90s with Chelios and Roenick etc.

    NFL week 11

I'm not willing to discount it just yet. GB did us a favor and coasted the entire second half. The score of that game could have been much uglier than it ended up being. Oh it was still awful, but Philly hasn't gotten lit up like that before and GB just wrecked them. It may be that the GB and NE offenses are just that good right now and combined with the level of bad the Bears are it was a perfect storm. Putting up 50+ two weeks in a row is impressive, regardless of opponents. And if you see my post in this week's game thread, I'm predicting 40 from the Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
  23. Yeah, don't worry about the playoffs. No Peanut plus a healthy Megatron will equal Detroit scoring 40+ on turkey day.
  24. GRB sentiment is that this is only a good deal if they can re-sign Heyward. Depending on how he performs this year, I tend to agree with that. Jenkins numbers aren't spectacular, but he's been really young for every league he's played in and held his own.
