I have roughly 55 million for 14 players with arb estimates, though that could be driven down if they buyout Sweeney, non-tender Wood, etc. How could they buy out Sweeney? You know, from his 3 yr/$15MM deal.

There's potential there, but he's wildly inconsistent. 23, 3, 25, 9, and 29 over the last 5 weeks in my league. Definitely worth a shot to cover for a bye week though. Evans would be my 2nd choice of that list.

If the offense wasn't complete [expletive], they'd be spending more time on the field and keep the defensive shortcomings from looking as awful as they do. It's certainly not going to solve all problems, but if you score a couple more times against Miami, I'm betting they don't put up 27 because they don't get as many chances.

Have you ever played or watched golf? There's a minimum of a half dozen swings used in any one round of golf, and I imagine that, much like a varied golf swing, when you practice that alternate swing enough, it becomes a muscle memory thing and not a big deal to pull off.

Depends on the situation for me. 2 outs and nobody on in a tie game? Go for it, maybe win the game. 1 out, down a run late in the game with a guy on 3rd? Cut down the swing and get the run in. The likelihood of that happening vs. the 2 run dinger to win it is so much better, and with as much power as guys like Baez, Soler, and Bryant have, they may make hard enough contact to put it in the seats anyway.

If Cutler makes a better throw Alshon would have caught it. Because it's 3rd and 1 and you're at midfield. Get the 1st down and go deep later. It was a poor decision and bad execution.

I think that was a Jay decision to take a chance with the 1 on 1 match up. Need to check down and move the chains there IMO.

It was originally announced as being on Fuller (7), but the official box score evidently lists it as being on Prosise (20), which makes more sense. Watching the replay, Prosise was probably being held as much as he was initiating contact, but tough to expect an official to catch the distinction in the heat of the moment. That was exactly my take. It looked to me like he was being held as much on the inside as he was just blocking the defender. That's a tough call to have cost you the game. I honestly don't think either one of the QBs will be any good in the NFL. Winston just has too much of that panic mode in him to be any good.
