Well, they shouldn't, because that would utterly defeat the purpose of making the trade. They're looking to get a large quantity of good prospects to restock their system, not get a couple ML players that aren't going to get them anywhere further than they currently are this year. The Angels shouldn't trade Trout for Rizzo and Bryant? Well, yeah, that would be a good deal, but certainly not the point of what they'd be trying to do. Of course, they could certainly go spin those two for more prospects, but the quickness with which they'd get told to pound sand is immeasurable.
