  1. I have never seen that before. Segura 0 for 4, send the Cubs lineup card to Cooperstown Gonzales does it all the time and there are several others I've noticed too. Just making sure I wasn't missing some reason to do it that way on Twitter to distinguish it from something else.
  2. Why do so many writers use 9x27 instead of 9-27 when giving hits in AB info? I find it to be really annoying.
  3. Can't even really be upset with Hendricks for that double. That pitch was up and in.
  4. He's got whatever the guy equivalent of resting bitch face would be.
  5. not like that I'm guessing what he listed is winnings on a $2 bet. Nobody lists it like that though.
  6. Man, that's a really close play at 2nd for as well as that ball was hit. He's damn good out there.
  7. I don't know that there's anything linking the divorce to the cancer, it was just a really easy reason to hate him I don't think anyone ever said because of, just while she had cancer.
  8. 70 pitches in 3 1/3. Jeebus. Starting pitchers are just screwed against this lineup.
  9. Any chance the crappy AZ air is a problem for his breaking stuff and there's really nothing to worry about?
  10. This offense tho. 50 pitches and nobody out in the 3rd. Murder on bullpens.
  11. Honestly, if it's the ankle, I'd much rather have a broken bone than a tendon/ligament issue. Much quicker and more reliable healing.
  12. ive seen people have way less trouble than t hat with a torn ACL i have no idea wtf this is I'm guessing bone break. Wouldn't shock me if it ends up as a broken fibula after seeing the Twitter pic.
  13. Fowler clipped his knee while trying to dive under him. Looked like every Gronk knee injury i saw the play...i just odn't see where he actually got hurt. i mean obviously it was the collision. When they collided, Fowler's hip/ass hit the inside of Schwarber's knee. That's not usually an ACL injury, but it certainly doesn't preclude that from it being what it is.
  14. Apparently we get to pay the piper for Lackey's ridiculous luck last year.
  15. In his defense, he's so clueless he probably has no idea what Affliction is and just bought it because he's a weirdo uber Christian and it has a cross on it.
  16. Anybody got this game pulled up on DirecTV yet? I'm getting a not available/blacked out message. Edit: Never mind, I was just a couple minutes early.
  17. Look jerk, I'm no StylesClash!
  18. Well that's idiotic. What the hell does that have to do with what happened the year they started out terribly?
  19. Well this couldn't possibly be less accurate than it is. [tweet] [/tweet] To recap, they didn't even make the playoffs in 88, 97, or 07 and lost in the division series in 01. What an asskissing terrible network they have broadcasting them.
  20. Actually, it probably did because of the diuretic effect of the caffeine in the green tea.
  21. I don't really drink too much hard stuff so I can't comment, but I'm with you on the beer. Definitely different types of buzzes for different beers, and I'd like to think it's more than just the ABV. For me, Hopslam would give me the most different buzz from anything I've tried (compared to like, an imperial stout with the same ABV). And although it's not my cup of tea, hard cider gives a different winey type of buzz as well. I mean, enough of anything will get you drunk though. But I notice difference between mellow buzzes and energetic buzzes. Again, and I hate to agree with Careless, all completely due to the adjuncts in each type of booze and not the actual alcohol.
  22. ^^^^^ Pretty much that. Plus, I live in it daily and am really enjoying the schadenfreud.
