Its been awful... really. I'm not immersed in the sport (this is the first time I've actually been able to see a full game this season; I'm normally on radio) like you are, but this is the first time I can recall so many calls being disputed, so many things going 'wrong' with the officiating. Not good at all. *I mean this season is the first time, not this game

Better news against the Dominican Rep. 3 for 4, including a home run; which was his only RBI. Batting .250 now.

Well, it didn't go down particularly well last night, but I might as well, waiting for tonight's game (Venezuela vs. Dominican Rep.) to start. Yesterday, again Blanco went 0 for 4, but with a walk which turned into a run. Simple Maths, he's batting .000 at the moment.

Henry Blanco 0 for 4 with two Ks last night. Venezuela are just starting up vs. Puerto Rico tonight. Is anyone really bothered?

There's a group of guys that do the blog, someone on here discovered it in the middle of last season. It's well worth looking through their archives if you're looking for a funny read. I've had tears rolling down my cheeks a number of times recently; their analysis of columns is the thing, for me anyroads. -
I suppose I could have an element of pride if they went with The Tampa Bay Robot Devil Rays. But, of course, when the season started, the pride would turn to shame.
