    He's still got age on his side somewhat, but this is his 3rd season in the system now and he has yet to stick in full season ball. That's a major disappointment at least, if not a failure. I would rather have Buccholtz, Garza, and Bowden. Too bad we picked the wrong guy.

    Why not get into a deal with the DRays. bring back Longoria, Niemann, and anyone of their young outfielders. Longoria was a ss for a while also. D-Rays have a team payroll of $24M this year... Z is making about half that. He's going to want way more than they could hope to pay him, and they're not in contention this year, so there's no reason for a rental. And lastly, they wouldn't trade perhaps the best hitting prospect in baseball for Zambrano, let alone trade him with two other valuable players. Ok the payroll thing I get. That said they have tried very hard to get impact pitching. In order to do that they are going to have to give up great talent.

    He probably wants to know why he wasn't hired. I would like to know when Lee and Soriano are going to combine to hit more homers than JJ Hardy or Dan Uggla. Ridiculous. I wish we could blow this team up. After we get a new GM that is.

    Well, another year of letting him have it when he comes to Columbia. Hopefully this has negative implications on their recruitment of Releford, although I don't know why it would. I wonder if Bill will take back the mean words he had about him now. Time for all the Jayhawk fans I know who badmouthed him to forget they did it.

    hahaha yeah right Why not? People act like Portland has been a dormat forever. Well since about 1992 they got out of the 1st round of the playoffs once and haven't been there for the last couple years at all so ya they suck. They almost won it all when the Lakers got there first one.

    Masset isn't garbage. BA had him rated as the Rangers 4th best prospect. Yeah and their system sucks.
