  1. Agree, and I have no idea what happened after that Michigan State game. Are we certain Zeller is leaving for the draft? He's going to have to be able to shoot the ball better from mid range to make any impact in the NBA as he's going to be soft around the rim in that league. I think he has to. His stock is just going to continue to drop the more he stays in college. The only prospects that benefit from staying are ones who are great athletes but raw. Zeller's flaws won't really get better by staying. Plus the 6 UK frosh, Andrew Wiggins, and Jabari Parker are all in next years draft. He better go now. He should've left last year. Nah, it made sense to go for it this year, but that ship sailed. Now he has to go get paid.
  2. Groce didn't recruit any of these guys, but you know that. Ah I see. That explains it. =D> Of course you can't see the difference between telling guys you didn't recruit that they won't have a role in your system as opposed to what Crean has done.

  5. tate isn't good, at all, i doubt he sees the floor. nunn is going to get the backup PG minutes. I've only seen his ESPN games, but I thought Tate was good enough to get around ten minutes a game. We'll see I guess.
  6. I think John Groce told him to piss off it was his job, so Brad did. Ha ha, excellent. Yeah, I'm really onboard with Groce.
  7. I think John Groce told him to piss off it was his job, so Brad did. Or Stevens was smart and saw his style probably wouldn't have made many fans that hated Weber's style happy.
  8. Sounds like a recent KU path. SOUNDS LIKE EVERY KU PATH I can't blame them for the easy first two games each year, they get one seeds.
  9. That's crazy. Where is he gonna play? They have Victorino and Ellsbury already not hitting for any power in that outfield.
  10. I thought we were number 2 and that Olson cried enough the refs took us out of our game.
  11. Man you picked against IU? That sucks. Well. . . when another team punched this team in the mouth, they puckered. And they slumped at the end of the season (right after the game I started fully believing in them!). Plus, well, the bench is incapable of adjusting when things aren't going well. None of that is a great recipe for success n the tournament. I'm sure there was some subconscious reverse-jinxing at work; my secondary bracket did have them in the Final Four. I've pretty much said all this all year long--to the point other IU fans accused me of hating/not enjoying this team. But, of course, on the flip-side, any positive statement about IU or its players is met with the eye-rolling"typical IU fan bias" nonsense. Obviously you made the right call, I just can't not pick Illinois when they have a one seed. Those years I pick us to win it all, lol. Well both the 1989 and 2005 teams were much better (even relatively) than this IU team. Though I picked UNC to beat you guys in 2005. I've only picked IU to win the title once, and that was just because I stubbornly didn't want to believe Alan Henderson was hurt. That's also the only time I've even picked IU to the Final Four. But there really haven't been many opportunities to do so since I've followed it. Lol, I also picked us in '01.
  12. Henry and what do you call Bertrand? Yeah, idk, I was just looking at the roster, I guess they have Henry listed as G/F. Bertrand is listed as a guard. Hnery was a stretch 4 this year. But, Bertrand I am not really sure what I would list him as. I guess he's a guard/forward.

  15. Everyone is mentioning that Langford might be getting a hardship deal to be able to play right away.

  17. I'm not at all suprised. There is a reason I didn't include any of them up above. Good luck guys.
  18. ibby was a scholarship filler, wouldn't have been part of the rotation in a million years. Right, so now that he's transferring, maybe they can go more than 7 deep next year, unlike this year. Abrams, Nunn, Bertrand, Hill, Henry, Egwu, Colbert, Morgan, Lyle, and whatever 5th year guy takes Ibbys ride. Groce is going to have to play his freshman. I assume you mean Rice instead of Lyle. Also, do you think Tate plays much? Lol, yeah. Oops. I think Tate gets some run. I think we will play very deep next year.

  20. First transfer, Ibby. I assume we see at least one more.
  21. And Brad Stevens is sitting there less than a few hours away.
  22. Sounds like a recent KU path. Yeah 2011.... 16, 9, 12, 11. Average seed was 12....except for the fact that they lost to the 11 seed VCU so they never reached the F4. Look at their 08 path and last years. They've been very fortunate of late that their 2 seed has lost right away.
  23. Sounds like a recent KU path.
  24. You're never going to be able to beat a team with great guards using it, but you'll chew up teams that have weak backcourts.
