  1. Crean is weird, Meyer is dirty as hell. I'm siding with the weirdo in this one.
  2. Without a doubt. Votto, Rizzo and Gonzalez are all superior to Hosmer. Heck, Teixiera was arguably the worst of the group before he got hurt. And just like that, Hosmer just broke the game open... Debatable about Rizzo. His first year was pretty similar to Hosmer's let's see how he adjusts to the pitchers adjusting to him before we put him above Hosmer. After all HOZ was a top 5 prospect at one point, Rizzo never was.
  3. Oh I'm not saying they wouldn't have missed the free throws anyway. I just don't get how they don't get that call at home. The more I watch this year, the more I hope Bilas and co. are able to get changes made to college officiating. It's awful. College officiating has been awful since I started watching games back in the 80's. I doubt it will ever change. I've watched since then and agree with Bilas, it's worse now. Guys are just fouling the crap out of each other with their bodies and the refs don't call it. Changes need to be made.

  5. Typical Illinois fan not giving any credit to the team that came back and won. Funny how we see things differently depending on bias. It was a good comeback, but Michigan got robbed on that flagrant no call. Michigan gagged I agree completely. Just liked I think IU gagged against Illinois. your fellow IU fans agreed with this post up towards the top. Keep trolling.

  7. Great question.
  8. they are And it's not particularly close. If you take one look at the real bubble teams, it would be impossible to think Illinois is on the bubble. The proverbial kick in the nuts Illinois basketball has been for the last few years has many of us sweating when we shouldn't be.
  9. Lol, Dakich has about fifteen guys on his all first team big ten.
  10. Dakich is calling sanzere out. Love it.
  11. I can't believe no one has "accidentally" split craft open when he snakebites on every shot. It's one of the first things we were taught in high school. Follow through with your elbow on the jumper. You might get called for a foul, but he will stop.
  12. Just mugged Sam there.
  13. Shannon Scott nice shot. Jesus.
  14. nice bank shot Lenzelle.
  15. FFS craft gets to put his hands all over you and you can't breathe on him.
  16. You think maybe next year he will now have a significant drop off?
  17. Lucroy had a .881 OPS last year and a 3.9 WAR while missing about 50 games due to a broken hand. He's one of the better catchers in baseball. His good partial season doesn't sway me more than the body of work, although in fairness it was better than my memory. ZiPS ranks him tied for 13th among catchers and 7th among American born catchers, behind Posey, Mauer, Wieters, McCann, Zunino, and Avila. Why are Jimmy Rollins and Eric Hosmer on this team? Troy Tulowitzki and Prince Fielder busy? I get the pitchers skipping, but why would the hitters? Because they too play the game of baseball and could end up injured. So you think the hitters are at an increased injury rate in this, than say regular spring at bats?
  18. Nice last play there tharpe. Yeah the seven footer is gonna block it if you put it up in his face.
  19. The first thing they need to do is have agility tests that the refs have to be able to pass. No way should 60 year old, out of shape men be refereeing these games.

  21. Lol at Dale, you better ask Javy if that's what he wants first.
  22. They won't play Nebraska on Thursday, they're behind Purdue in the standings. This sets up Illinois to play Nebraska regardless of their result tomorrow now. I hope you have that right, but on several Illinois boards they have it differently.
  23. would be kinda crazy since they have 1 top 50 win (at home vs terrible on the road mizzou). they don't really have any unforgiveable losses though. virginia is the craziest at large candidate ever. seven 100+ rpi losses plus a loss to fsu (87) tonight. their rpi isn't even that respectable after tonight either (71). I bet they still get in though. It's coach cal and UK. I won't believe they are out until I see it.
