    Well since this is probably the worst team Self has had there and this will be the best team Bubbles has, what do you think? Bruce needs to have a funeral or talk about how he,"kicked Self's butt" to the press a few times. My answer zero. Self hates him and will always be up for him. I'll say one. This will be the highest seeded team Weber has at KSU though. This is probably the right pick, but I'm still going zero.

    Me too. But IU is pretty much clueless in physical half court games. It's why the second/third NCAA Tournament games concern me (maybe moreso than playing some other top-tier teams). It's not the players. It's Crean. This team has all the pieces you look for in a half court offense. 7-footer in the middle, inside/outside combo big that's a matchup problem, one of the best shooters in the country, the most athletic player in the country on the wing, a high basketball IQ, pass-first PG and a versatile slasher off the bench. There's need to be more running Hulls off screens. More high/lows with Watford and Zeller. More pick and rolls. And for God's sake scrap the damn zone defense. Agreed. And I expect this to be a continuing problem (it may be way, way worse next year). Crean's system and recruiting style are geared towards up-tempo finesse, which can be difficult in the Big Ten (at some point, IU could really use a bruiser inside). Under Crean, I could envision IU developing into sort of being the anti-Wisconson, in that they're better out of conference than in. Be honest, I know Crean has really turned you back in the right direction, but don't yo wish you could get Stevens to get back over the hump? I know Stevens at IU would scare the crap out of me.

    Talked about new technology they wanted to use to try and reinforce rewards for swinging at pitches in the strike zone. Was interesting.

    Didn't they have a couple of decent recruits (relative to NU) coming next year? Wonder what happens to them....one is a top 150 guy from NJ and I think said that he would consider other schools if Carmody was fired. Top kid said if they fire Carmody he's opening back up.

    Opposite Kansas possibly. Anyone else would create a disadvantage for the protected seed. Man I hope that happens. Illinois is exactly the kind of team that could beat us. I'd hate to see them in our bracket. I just want to see us play again in person.

    He's a decent player.

    Didn't he have nearly 40 free throws? 39. Tied his own NBA record from last year. Shaq also attempted 39 in a game but that was in the playoffs. Lol at shooting 39 free throws and only scoring 39 points.
