I agree. And while I feel much better about Soler's floor than Javy's, I feel Soler's ceiling is also good enough to be really excited about. The best floor though is Almora, correct?

Yeah it is to an extent. You can become a passable ball handler, but he's not going to develop not a point guard or anything unless that's all he worked on. It's really more his ability to create his own shot that he think is his biggest shortcoming. I guess that's ball handling+ first step/explosiveness? That's probably never going to be his game, but he could get better there. I think it can be improved by staying and working on it. But, it's not like he's gonna go higher in next years draft. In fact with wiggins, Parker, and the rest of the Kentucky kids he'd probably go lower. He has to go. Oh, I agree. He'd be a fool to stay, especially considering his family situation. What is his situation?

They need to guard Gallegos. He's the only guy on Nebraska that can shoot and of course we don't guard him. Don't blow this game and be back on the bubble please.

Lyle had 41 points, 21 rebounds and six assists last night in sectional semifinal win. I keep reading we lead for him. I hope Groce can land him. Would have liked to have seen that. Maybe when they make their way closer to this area; I went to the Warren Central sectional (Trey Lyles, Collin Hartman, Jalen Coleman). Me too, a guard getting twenty one rebounds. That's crazy.

At this point I'm not sure how anyone can like Soler more than Baez. Javy is younger and has done more in the minors at a higher level. What has Baez done at a higher level? Put up a .600 OPS in 20 games? I'll grant you he performed better, while 9 months younger, at a premium position, at the same level. So Baez had a small sample size at high A, so what was the sample size Soler had at low A? There's a reason every single service I've read has Javy above Jorge. Soler played what 40 total games last year? Baez only played 60 at A and 20 more at high A. At the same level, Javy played a little better, no question. But Javy hasn't "done more at a higher level." He's done more at the same level and he sucked at a higher level. He's younger and a SS, which are really the key distinctions. He was also hitting for power in the fall league. Wasn't he leading that league in homers when he got hurt? That's also a pretty big deal.

Isn't lunardi pretty awful at this though? I mean he gets most of the teams right, but he's not all that accurate.

Don't mess with what isn't broken. We have some of the best uniforms in sports. How about keep working on the team and ballpark and leave the one thing we have gotten right alone. -
They have to be. Right? It's March now. #1 in the polls is meaningless. At this point, it's all about whether Gonzaga deserves a 1 seed in the tourney. To a school like gonzaga this is absolutely false. They've never been number one before. This would be a huge deal to them.

KU will only wear them for the conference tourney. Sounds like self doesn't like them. Says that ,"sometimes you have to be a team player."

No, I don't find it particularly odd, considering OSU only hit three baskets over 2 overtimes. Then again, I don't have your storied history of level-headed objectivity regarding KU and Bill Self. Like where I've said on here several times that self is the best coach in the country? That type hatred? Dude, you're crazy-psycho re: KU. Oh I hate Kansas, more specifically Kansas fans. But self is the best coach in the country.
