Shouldn't some of the Cardinals players be expected to return to normal levels of production next year as well? They have a lot of guys having their best years ever. Including Pujols. -
You people who live close to Wrigley make me sick. I would love to go to a Cub game again. Not to sound like the millionaire who bitches about not being able to buy his third house in Miami, but I only enjoy it when the Cubs are good. When they are mediocre or suck, all I see is no parking spots and horrible traffic before and after the game. I've gotten used to planning my trips out of the house around Cubs games. But I totally know I take it for granted. I'll miss it when I eventually move someday. Yeah I have to go watch the Royals. Which sucks because they suck and I really don't care much about them. Instead I spend most of the game checking my phone to see how we are doing. I'd go watch a Cubs game no matter what. Hell I enjoyed the games I went to in the mid 90's.

Geo's been on fire lately. I sure wish we were run by competent people. That's what I'm saying... Koyie is hitting just well enough to justify Lou's starting him when clearly it's an asinine move. Yep, but it extends so much further than that. Look at our minor league threads. Can you believe they would let Huesby pitch in a game if he is hurt? It's a low A playoff game. Did Prior and Wood not teach this organization anything? Then look at how we've handled so many of our guys this year. Jake Fox isn't playing now because? Blanco plays and Theriots the shortstop because? I mean I know we run into some bad luck once in awhile, but that's the crap that has lead to the 101 years more than anything.

Milt swings and misses a lot on pitches right down the middle. Strange for such a good hitter to do that.

I don't care what anyone says, Geo is absolutely huge this year compared to last. Big guy is right. :roll: :roll: sorry i'll root for them to win games that will accomplish absolutely nothing except making draft slot worse in 2010. It would be kinda cool to keep the above .500 record streak going though.

I really hope they shop him around this offseason. I would think we could at least get a dependable bullpen arm or a decent prospect for Theriot and a low level prospect or cash. Sadly, I don't think they will look to do anything with him, but give him the ss job again.

I really wish Ryan Theriot would go away. Take your sub .340 obp, poor range, no arm, terrible baserunning, and no pop and get the hell out of here.

They need to get rid of the six game rivalry matchups. I don't think it would be as bad if those were limited to three games a season. How about fixing the fact that we always play more games in St. Louis than the Cardinals do here? That's another little tweak that needs to happen. -

I do wish interleague would go away though. I don't think it helps us at all, but in dealing with St. Louis. The Cardinals get 6 with KC every year. We get 6 with the White Sox. That's usually a 2 game advantage to them every year. -
