Which tells you how freaking good Derrick Rose is. Thos two together couldn't beat him in high school. Also, DMac needs to slow down a bit, if we are gonna make a deep run next year we need him here at the point. At the rate he's going he might not be here.

The RPI is really ugly at 72 coming into today. Still think they'd need to creep into the top 50 to be "safe". That involves not losing out, for sure. Hold serve at home, and even if they lose at Purdue, OSU and Michigan, they go 12-6 in conference, sweep Wisconsin, and likely finish top 50. The RPI is going to take a pretty good leap just from this win over Wiscy. Wiscy has one hell of a resume so far, and Vandy destroying Tenn is going to bump that RPI up even some more. Now if Clemson would actually finish strong for a change.

i think we need one more big ten win and then a win in the btt, or two big ten wins. they can't keep us out at 11-7, i don't recall it happening, but that could be me. 11 wins usually gets you in, but I seem to think Penn St. had 11 last year and missed out. That Utah game is gonna haunt us.

To be fair Illinois managed to score at the end because D Mac was in the zone and making 3-pters. Probably didn't have anything to do with Weber. And we kept scoring at the end because he didn't have Jordan and Cole, two guys who can't score in at the same time. Which is something to do with Weber

Man what a great win. I think that might be the best win we've had since Dee was on campus. Like someone said I really hope this team starts defensing like most Illinois teams have.

Our big guys don't rebound and Bill Cole is worthless. McCamey can't beat them by himself.

I don't think we can win this. I think we've played pretty well and they've played awful and yet are right there with us. Hope I am wrong.

Not sure about the whole team, but Tisdale has to build up some strength for sure !! Dmac and DJ are pretty physical for guards. And Griffey seems too be built ok. but the two Mike's might not know we have a weight room.

It's not just about the "abuse;" the guy suffered two serious injuries (the basepath collision and the linedrive off the elbow) that would sideline most pitchers. Yeah he did pitch very well after the first one, but the second one that I think did him in. It's too bad.

I honestly wonder some times if you even enjoy the games. I read several posts and then get really confused when I look it up and see U of I is up by 15. That couldn't have been this year then. I don't remember being up 15.
