  1. Jeff Jordan is awful.
  2. Keller is so damn streaky from game to game.
  3. I'd just like to see some younger officials worked in. It's a fast paced games played by young kids, yet they have 50 year old, out of shape guys as referees.
  4. I agree, I believe had he not gotten sick early on he would have played more.
  5. I'm so surprised to see the Big Ten officials favor the home team. They never do that. True.
  6. Dear Big Ten officials, Michigan State is good, they don't need you to give them every call. Thanks.
  7. :yahoo: Man, it's depressing I'm celebrating their, probably, lone win in the B10. You have Indiana at home?
  8. This is great news. Hopefully Z does the same.
  9. I can see that, which is why after the season do not re-sign VDN and sign Byron Scott. I think Scott can get Rose to the next level as a pg. I don't think it matters who his coach is, he just doesn't have the personailty type to dominate like he should. Maybe it is something he will have as he gets older, but I don't know if it will be because of a coach or not.
  10. One of the kids who I played basketball with growing up died from the same thing. I don't think his famiy knew about it before hand either.
  11. Yeah I heard Simmons talking about it on his radio show yesterday so it's definately out there. I just don't get how.
  12. They seem to have been pretty content to wait the past few years when they started playing better. They should have added Gasol a few years ago, but fell in love with their own roster. They were linked with Amar'e and Garnett at one point too. If a trade is going to obviously improve the team they're going to do it. Sometimes deals just fall through. Yeah, teams often overrate their own guys, but the only big deal we've heard rumored this year is for Bush and it's pretty hard to imagine they'd turn it down along the lines that have been discussed unless Toronto is asking for the moon. If LA is going to give them Bynum, I can't imagine Toronto getting a better return than that. Coupled with the fact that the Raptors pretty much know he's gone, I have a strong feeling that deal will go down if it is, in fact, being discussed. Man, that would make for a ridiculously scary LA team. I'd instantly put a lot of money on the Lakers winning the championship if it does. I guess I don't understand how the NBA cap works, because there should be no way that team fits under the cap.
  13. Probably an SRT-10. If you're going to spend $50k on a car... why would it be a pickup? If you're going to steal a ballplayer's identity, why would it be Tyler Colvin's? Well it's probably easier to do it for a guy no one would know.

  15. What sucks to me is they have started to play a bit better, so now they will probably hold off on a trade to make the team better.
  16. I think it is more he knows it might take most of the first year to get back to what he was thus he wants a guaranteed second year. or there's that... either way, he doesn't think he's healthy I still think he would do ok if we used him properly. But, it looks like we don't have enough in the budget for him anyways.
  17. I thought he was the only one not boffing Cindy. Thought that's why we kept him instead of Palmeiro?

  19. I was for getting rid of the GM who we all knew would target pure garbage in order to get rid of a cheap, productive player. But, alas we couldn't do that. "pure garbage" - I agree "cheap, productive player" - If you mean Bradley, he wasn't cheap or very productive. I will agree that he was more productive than Silva will be. He was still fairly productive and on terms of our team he was kinda cheap. I imagine he has a big bouce back year too, very frustrating how that turned out. I wish just once Jim wouldn't run a players value straight into the ground before trying to trade him.

  21. false harden is also 3 years younger Ha, Ha. You actually believe that Rich Harden is as good as Ben Sheets i tend to believe the truth Either way they are both very good pitchers. Wouldn't mind having either one.
  22. Illinois will have a little cushion after they beat MSU on Saturday. :pig: That game is playing with house money. Not supposed to be able to win up there.
  23. Rise up!
  24. So let me get this straight ... because MJ retired you are saying the Bulls decided not to try and replace Horace Grant? If anything MJ retiring would make them want to replace Horace Grant even more because they knew they would be hurting. Probably not with the same sense of urgency since they didn't think they would have Jordan to compete for the title. This shouldn't be that hard to understand. You had a nice two year run because Jordan retired for, gasp, two years. Must have been a coincidence. He didn't retire for 2 years. He retired for 1 1/2. This is the root of the whole problem. Bulls fans want to ignore Jordan did come back and DID dominate in the playoffs. Your Grant comment still makes no sense. They made the playoffs and were still trying to win. Losing a guy who just average 15 and 11 means you would try to replace. Your theory is the Bulls lost Jordan, made the playoffs next year and then decided to just throw in the towel because they had no chance. We still had no power forward to speak of, Kukoc was playing it. Once we knew Jordan was back we went out and got Rodman and started teabaggin people.
  25. Even more now than when he cried like a baby in front of Congress?
