  1. 4 years of a punchin judy corner outfielder that cant even hit .270...just tired of him and many others Terrible argument. Please re-submit. I'd like to see him moved as I think he's one of our few peices that could net a decent return.
  2. 10th. Yeah he's been barely passable with the bat, and his cruddy defense has given away any value he might have had as a result. And I may have spoken too soon about Albert Pujols. Well since your entire outifeld is all OPSin over 800, including Jon Jay and Matt Craig, you'll pry be ok.
  3. I love the little show he put on after he got that hit. Between that crap and what he said about finally being on the right side of the rivalry. Get lost you POS. You are a career minor leaguer we gave a chance to.
  4. Looking forward to when we finally put one in that little bitch's ear.
  5. He's been less than great but the problem is Jim Hendry. Always has been, always will be.
  6. It was 2 and 1. He painted a fastball at 96 on the black on 2 and 0. OK, my bad on the count. But why do you go anywhere near the plate there? You put four fingers up and put him on base! Again, WTF? He made a very good pitch, the best hitter of the last 40 years made a better swing. Maybe the offense shouldn't have quit in the 6th inning.
  7. It was 2 and 1. He painted a fastball at 96 on the black on 2 and 0.
  8. I was thinking he same thing. How the hell did he hit that pitch that far?
  9. Joe Buck thinks he's so cute. i wish he'd get hit by a train.
  10. Talked about many of the misconceptions people have about him. He was gonna be a 2 to 3rd round guy, had mono, and he had scholarship offers to many schools in the big 12 and sec but they wanted him to sign late. etc.
  11. He had that weird growth last year on his jaw. This year he has dark pockets growing above his eyebrows. WTF if going on with him? Besides the buckets of HGH.
  12. So I guess LeBron and Wade's shadow boxing was premature?
  13. And why exactly did the Cubs choose to promote Silva again...? I would imagine they would get aggresive with him because of the contract he has. But maybe not?
  14. I'm laughing at Ryno cause of Cindy.
  15. Yeah we can't really read much into this. Think of what it says to the fans if he does come out and say, "Man this team sucks better hope we sign Pujols." His actions are what will matter. If we lose 90 games again and Hendry is retained then we can panic.
  16. Oh I know they don't care. I'm hoping though the empty stands are at least starting to worry Ricketts though.
  17. I can only speak for me, but I moved away and don't feel like paying 200 bucks a year to watch a bad Cubs team. Couple that with the cheap Royals' tickets here and a bunch of young talent coming to KC, I have started to watch more Royals' games. Still love the Cubs, but am tired of the front office having zero accountability.
  18. That, and some heavy drinking before drafting. There were some concerns about Ramirez struggling a bit at the plate this year. Also, I think there is an idea that Ramirez will eventually move to a "non-premium" position because of his sub par defense at short. Castro is seen as someone who has a good shot at winning a batting crown, develop decent power and turn into an above average defensive player. He also has quite a bit more career left than Ramirez. I know he's struggled a bit this year, well a lot. That's good I guess. Here's to hoping we can add another top guy in this draft.
  19. Why would Castro go before Hanley? Age playing that much of a factor?
  20. Gonna get swept by the Astros at home. Hendry was lucky to get that lifetime contract.
  21. This one seems too forced. It's been pretty forced for the last month or so. You're beter than that, Kobe.
  22. This one seems too forced.
  23. I wanna see if LeBron can keep up what he was doing at the end of the Bulls series. The last 2 minutes of game 5 were Jordanesque.
  24. Thankfully we have advanced stats that say otherwise. But, LeBron's close. I admit I don't know a lot about advanced basketball stats, but do they take into account the ways that the league has changed since Jordan played? IE: Rule changes, expansion, dominant teams in the West, etc? The hand check rule would probably be the biggest difference Which would have helped Jordan immensly.
