I can't wait until Texas decides it's done with your conference and your winning conference USA titles. You still are butt hurt that Missouri is more appealing than you? Also last night out here proved to me that KU fans like to pretend they're the most elite team, but they know they aren't deep down. They were all so horrified at the thought of MU making a final four, why? I heard a few KU fans say, "this proves Self is far superior to Haith, when did he ever lose a first round game like this?". Gee I don't know Bucknell and Bradley in back to back years? And really that's what you would use to determine who the better coach is? It's Bill Self, he's the best coach in America and this [expletive] fan base doesn't deserve him.

They should have called a foul at the end there. Grant shouldn't have called the timeout with 2.4 left though. Yeah, that was a horrendous time for a timeout. Grant said he called it because Creighton switched into a zone and his kids weren't ready for it. I'd say it was more McDermott coaching well than Grant messing up.

Agreed he should drawn up a make the shot play. Or not call a timeout with only 2.2 seconds left. Again I don't think they were even going to get a shot off. That's on Releford for walking it up and not being ready to go.

Agreed he should drawn up a make the shot play. He shouldn't have called timeout...twice. They weren't going to get a shot off when he called timeout. They had a guy wide open in the corner. And Steele with the ball dribbling the other direction.

the only coach i can remember ever leaving for a job within the same conference is tubby smith. if we get him first, there's no way he leaves for wisconsin. it's not nearly as good of a job as illinois, anyway. I'm not so certain that is the case anymore. Great city, rabid fan base, newer arena, sustained success. They are close enough to Chicago where a guy like Shaka could recruit it, and they also have a strong presence in the Twin Cities. I still think Illinois is the better job, but the chasm is not as wide as you think. Assembly Hall needs a facelift, Ubben is beginning to look obsolete, and Champaign is not exactly a destination. You are crazy, it's a far better job. All the talking heads have called it a top ten job.

It's Montana. Granted, I have UW going to the Elite 8 in one of my two brackets. We lost twice to Iowa this year, so I'm not taking anything for granted. Plus it's the tournament. Gotta get out of the first weekend, no matter who you play. Iowa might be the best team ever assembled. The rest of the B1G better pray.
