  1. The only remaining chance I have to win any money is if KU wins it all because I'm the only person in my schoolmates' pool with that result. 2 F4 teams already down with FSU and Mich St. And if you root for that you're a child molestor. Just curious, what's you're nightmare title game based on the teams remaining? Indiana-Kansas? Are any others close? Just KU to be honest. IU really doesn't bother me that much, I live too far away from their fans.
  2. Never underestimate the ability of Vinny Del Negro.
  3. I would have never imagined that Lenzelle Smith would end up being a better shooter than William Buford.

  5. Wow, how OLD are you? 35, soon to be 36. That's not old. Says the soon to be 33 year old. :D
  6. Coming back won't help him. He needs to go before he's exposed, like last year. Agreed. He's not going to get bigger and jump higher now. He will probably get bigger, but not in a good way. Probably? You've seen Satch. There is no probably here.
  7. jesus how does this go two pages and no one acknowledges it. It's like when the NBA got tired of giving MJ MVP awards. We just are so used to this kind of quality out of Sully.
  8. Coming back won't help him. He needs to go before he's exposed, like last year. He's not even the best player on his own team if he comes back. He's already exposed. He won't be able to play the 4 in the NBA....too slow, too weak. He's Sean May

  11. I think the fact that Purdue just got swept by IU and might not beat them again anytime soon, that is a lot more telling. We've got like 30 to burn before you catch us in the all-time series... Yeah, I lose sleep at night over that all-time series. So in other words, you accept your role in the grand scheme of things. =D> As, in, we've beaten you more often? Yes? Is IU the only blue blood with a losing record against their chief rival? Well duke and UNC play each other. So no.

You aren't exactly a scary powerhouse anymore.
  13. No Lesley that's not what I'm wondering, I'm wondering how you aren't melting under that light.
  14. You say that now, but you were all about his cheating ass then. Or your fan base was anyways.
  15. What's coach K's record look like? Since they're usually a very high seed, that's not likely to be an apt comparison I know, but I read a thread a few years back on Illinois Scout about how most big name coaches usually don't have many wins over seed. It's usually smaller schools that can rack those up. Well there's a pretty big difference between Coach K, who has been a 1 or 2 seed in like 8 of the last 10 tournaments, and Bo Ryan, who has been a 1, 2, or 3 seed 2-3 times total. Ryan's number is not from lack of opportunity. Right but he's never bad enough really to have a chance for this in round one. I don't know, I just don't remember too many times thinking Bo lost out before he reached a team that was a lot better than him. Maybe it's just be though.
  16. What's coach K's record look like? 5-3 Really? That's awesome actually. Especially since he's almost always a one or two.
  17. So when does Purdue play this weekend? Not before Tom embarrasses IU some more. Tell him to stop tanning, buy some clothes that fit, stop clapping, and stop snorting coke. I'm so embarrassed by our 27-8 season, I can hardly put on my IU gear in public. True story. It's the fact that IU fans aren't embarrassed by him that's telling. They embraced and flaunted Kelvin Sampson.
  18. I've always argued he has had talent. This year he had Jordan Taylor. He did a superb job. I've just always assumed he commits a series of blood sacrifices on the tombs of Mayan chiefs to get the other guys to play well. Kind of like when Bobby Knight did the same crap every year? Contrary to popular belief, Knight's good teams actually had solid talent. Once he decided fishing & hunting was more important and left recruiting to Dan Dakich, that was his downfall. 88-89 the Big Ten was as good as it's ever been and Knight won it with Jay Edwards and a bunch of rec league guys. That was Knights best job ever IMO.

  20. What's coach K's record look like? I'm going to guess he has more than one. I bet it's not a lot more. The guys almost always a one or two.

  24. Wisconsin is like the new Purdue. Cool regular season team, one hell of a dog in March. They lost to a team that lost 2 times all year by 1 point. Not the end of the world. That isn't really the point. For all the success Bo has had, Wisconsin has only advanced past the round of 16 once under his watch. This team was one of his least talented and he did one of his best coaching jobs this year. Go cheer for your clapping troll of a coach.
  25. I find myself cheering against Tom Izzo.
