    Y'know, now I think of it, the Giants are one of the few teams I've never met a fan of. Alot of them around here due to Eli. I don't really care if the Giants win or lose, I just root for Eli. So, not sure if they qualifies me as a Giants fan. Never liked Eli, especially after that SD flap. I once said I'd rather have Craig Krenzel since he was 3-0 as a start (at the time) and Eli was something like 1-6. :oops: Well I was one of the few Ole Miss people to get mad about the SD flap. Most people were trying to give him a break about it, but I always thought it was really wrong to do what he did.

    Why don't you wait and see if your 4-4 team can even make the playoffs. There are only two very good teams left on our schedule (Eagles and Giants) and the Falcons and Saints are in free-fall mode. I'm pretty sure we're getting in. So b/c the Saints lost on the road today to the defending SB champs they are in "free fall". They still have a better record than your underachieving bunch. Again, see us all again after tomorrow night's game, a trap if I ever saw one. They also got killed two weeks ago at home by a Baltimore team that just lost to the Titans. Ah, the ol' connect the dots argument. Do they have the BCS computer in the NFL? Seriuously man, your guys are at .500. Save your smack talk for Oakland Raiders fans. HAHA...raider fans

Sure, their defense gave up 2 huge 70+ yard runs, but other than that, they weren't that bad. They are hardly in free fall mode.

    Eli has already beaten Rex once when Ole Miss beat Florida in 2002. It was a great day: Goalposts came down and I got maced for trying to do so by the plastic cops. GREAT day. I think it was the only time they played against each other.

    While Wrigley does have some severe wind to deal with every now and then, I'd guess that because the dimensions of the outfield are so standard, playing CF in Wrigley isn't as bad as some stadiums, like Fenway or Minute Maid

    I can dig that. However, would they want him to play CF? 2B? I'd be afraid of the butchery at either position. Although I would definitely like his speed and bat. What position would he do the least damage defensively if we were to pick him up?

    Do we have to hear that song every 7th inning stretch? Why can't we just honor America before the game with the National Anthem and baseball during the game with Take Me Out to the Ballgame? I think there are much better sounding patriotic songs (such as America the Beautiful) anyway, if we're going for the patriotism during. Why do you hate America? Hahaha. Not America, just its most overrated song. It's based on another country's national anthem for God's sake! Forgive my ignorance what song is "God Bless America" based on? I think maybe he's confused with "My Country tis of Thee", which is based on the British national anthem.

    I don't understand why people have to distroy things to prove they care. They don't. I said it's overkill. But I always know that I played better under coaches who were more fired up than those that were more subdued. Might just be my style.

    No joke. What are they going to put in the primetime slot? Miami-GT? What a shame. I want Mizzou to KILL everyone they face...makes Ole Miss' crappy season look just a tad bit better. btw, I heard Steve Young (I think) compare Chase to a young Drew Brees.

    At least now we'll have a manager who gets pissed off like we do when the Cubs lose. When losing a horrible game, Dusty would just shrug his shoulders....Lou trashes the clubhouse. Sweet Lou might be a bit overkill at times, but at least it's transparent that he actually gives a damn.
