    The SEC commish has said he doesn't want any new Big 16 conference or whatever to upstage his own, so that means the SEC would be expanding as well. Perhaps he'd want to try and raid Texas and Texas A&M maybe? With Mizzou and Nebraska going to Bigwhatever and Colorado likely going to PAC-10, the Big 12 is truly on the verge of being a crap conference save for the monsters. Of course the Big 12 could try and add TCU, Utah, maybe Boise? I dunno. I doubt the Texas to SEC would ever happen though. The SEC could also try and get Miami and Florida State. Georgia Tech and Clemson could also be possibilities.

    only thing I can think of is that he was making a statement about how underappreciated and nearly forgotten Arky Vaughan is, because Truffle knows his baseball history. Can't imagine he unintentionally forgot Honus.

    Oh, and Pomeranz has continued to dominate. Friday night against Mississippi State he went 6.1 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, 11 K's and one walk. 9 of those 11 K's came in a row. I've seen him listed as high as the 2nd pick overall. Not sure how accurate that is though.

    That's pretty incredible! We are at a 10 game winning streak right now and I thought that was phenomenal. 19 games is just absurd.

    caught the last two minutes last night of the Lakers-OKC game and it renewed one of the reasons for why I hate that the NBA playoffs last two months; I have no interest in watching a team like the Lakers spend two months breaking the dreams of teams like the Thunder.

    Yes I understand all that obviously, I figured he was talking about getting them out of their slumps. On rereading his post it is obvious to me now he was mainly talking about causing an effect on the team, not on those specific guys.

    Why? These two guys are seasoned professionals and aren't head cases. It's not like "the pressure" of batting 3rd and 4th is getting to them or anything like that. I don't think it would make any difference to their current slump if they bat in the 4 hole or bat 7th.

They aren't horrible from what I've heard so far. I just walked in there and Erin Andrews is looking QUITE HOT. Very nice.

    sweet god, all I get on Extra Innings tonight is the Nationals crew. Rob Dibble couldn't be worse if he tried. This is painful.
