    hundley and grace's douchebag tendencies aren't even a drop in the bucket compared to domestic abuse and being a sexual predator. i'll take slumpbusting and being in a drunken stupor/going missing in action for a week over what hall and bradley have done with themselves.

    I originally planned to go to a Chicago sports bar in Bay Ridge, but the girlfriend is a bit under the weather. I'll be making burgers and fries at our apartment instead and watching the game on either the ESPN3 app or MLB.TV.

    Didn't our own 2005 Cubs have some terrible injuries? Im thinking Nomar's hammy, Aramis was hurt at stretches, Sammy sneezed or something, Clement got line drived in the head and then, of course, the famous DL adventures of Prior and Woody... and then close to all this, didn't DLee hurt his wrist? Much of this could've happened over multiple years, but for some reason, 2005 sticks in my head as when it all happened. derrek lee broke his wrist in 2006. he was killing it in 2005 (won the batting title and hit 46 home runs). sammy's sneeze was in 2004. you could group prior and wood being on the dl in 2004, as well. clement was hit in the head with a line drive during his stint in boston after he left the cubs. nomar tore his groin in 2005 which gave us this doozy of a picture: http://cache.boston.com/images/bostondirtdogs//Headline_Archives/4.20_nomar_bdd.jpg NEVER FORGET! :)

    i cancelled my mlb audio subscription this year and forgot to cancel the mlbtv option. i was notified via paypal on friday evening that mlb advanced media debited my account. i was 5 beers in at the bar so i didn't give that much of a [expletive].

    have you forgotten about rizzo's mental lapses in the field? castro's not the only one to do that. if anything, russell would be the backup plan if baez flames out. move castro to second and keep russell at shortshop.

    is addison russell expected to be called up this year? i know the a's had him on the fast track before he tore his hamstring last april, but he's only 20 and i'm guessing the cubs have him on the same "master all minor league levels" before progressing to the big leagues as they did with bryant and baez.
