I like Horton. He had several good years in Florida before he went to the Bruins. 7 yrs is kind of a long deal, but I think 5.25 a year is probably fair.....if he can stay healthy. Columbus is probably in a position that they have to gamble a little more than other teams in the FA market to get top tier players. If Gaborik keeps playing like he did when he finished with Columbus, they should be playoff contenders next year. The Pens and the Rangers are the only 2 teams in their division that I think are better than Columbus right now On another subject. Looking at some of the moves and new divisions, I think Vancouver will have a hard time making the playoffs. They have gotten a lot of points the last few years by playing in the weakest division. They only have Edmonton and Calgary left from that division. Edmonton is getting better. Plus they will not be competing with SJ, LA, Anaheim and Phoenix. Only 3 teams are guaranteed playoff spots. I do not think it would be surprising at all if the Canucks did not make the playoffs
