Is Schwarbers defense that bad in left? 2 War with those offensive numbers. I love the Harlond Clift comp for Bryant. Mostly because I actually know who Cliff was because I wrote about him in a HS paper once.

I have heard good stuff about Al Jazeera. Seems odd that they would stick with this story if their only source had recanted. Makes me think they have something else.

And ESPN is treating it like a funeral yeah, not a lot of objectivity. It was a great early season NBA story when the casual fan is still paying more attention to football.

As someone who volunteer coaches youth football and baseball. The parents that are the worse are those who coach from the stands and those that ask their kid why so and so is playing and not him. First one is a huge distraction to his child while he is playing. The second one is creating animosity with teammates.

Yeah MSU has been this fluckey team that hasn't belonged for several yrs now. BTW, you should check out the total yds in the Michigan game. nobody's saying they don't "deserve" to be in this year, you weirdo. them being good two years ago or whatever doesn't mean they weren't lucky to win the mich game this year. except that is exactly what you said. Saying someone is lucky is saying they did not earn what they got. MSU had a strong resume. Now that they are getting healthy are as good as anybody. And you cheer for Iowa St and are a movie snob, yet you call me weird

decimated depth coming to roost but on the bright side maybe this affords us a couple more years of Durkin? I think Michigan gave up on the run too early also. They were getting yards, but just stopped.

Michigan's defensive line is terrible. Getting blown back every play. Spartans dline was in the backfield every play last week.

Living in Central Illinois what I find alarming about Illinois, is not that the fans are angry, it's that they just don't care anymore. They need something that has some zip to it. Probably need to overpay for a coach and then be willing to pony up big for coordinators.

I don't understand why people get uptight about this. I understand if players are not trying their best to win individual games. But if a team is legitimately making moves that the end game is a champioship, why be upset? They are the ones that have to deal with their fan base, and potential lost revenue. I have a lot more issue with teams that pocket revenue sharing money, in a constant rebuild, no real plan or direction, constantly complaining that the rules are stacked against them.

Michigan fans couldn't wait to get rid of Lloyd Carr. They suffered for several yrs until they backed into Harbaugh. I think teams like Oklahoma or LSU need to be very careful when getting rid of successful coaches.

untrue parenthetical valid point. i thought the game was fairly evenly played, i was mostly going off of high level statistics which you've just debunked. after the game I said Michigan was winning because they were dominating special teams....then one play flipped the script. I don't think MSU got screwed in Nebraska, they screwed up.

I don't think losing at Nebraska is as terrible loss as it is perceived. Nebraska is only a handful of plays away from being 8-3. But they lost to Illinois and Purdue. What sucks is the way MSU lost to Nebraska.

I didn't understand OSU not throwing deep, especially with the wind. I think MSU got a little bit of a break this year in that their biggest weakness is the home run ball. Michigan is not very good at them and OSU didn't try them. I think what makes me more happy than just winning today's game is that MSU looks poised to not drop off that much next season.

Illinois ran 40 secs off the clock before punting with less than 3mins left losing by 1. How fricking inexcusable.
