  1. Michigan's QB situation is a disaster. 2 weeks in a row I think they lost because of QB play
  2. I think Michigan's real beef with the refs should be theses Pi
  3. So annoying. Overturned TD that was BS, hanging out on the Wisconsin 40 for a couple of drives to start 3rd and only got 3 points. So many chances to legit win. It’s painful when there are 2-3 moments in games that were evenly played that don’t go your way and lead to a loss. Really want this one...still time but not looking great. Not sure it was BS.....not sure it was difinitve that the one foot hit first. But if it happened to Sparty I would probably see it the same as you.
  4. Michigan really looked in control for most of this game....then they couldn't get any pressure on a few 3rd and longs and Wisconsin is starting to role them
  5. Hard to see it happening....but outside of Alabama I'm not sure there will be many 1 loss teams.
  6. Kinnick stadium is a trap for top teams
  7. I know I'm late to this, but what are you talking about? What is an ace? Is it definable? We gave up a top prospect for a player who is already as good as you would hope a top prospect will become. That player is very reasonably priced for 3 yrs. I have found that Cubs fans who used to way under value good prospects are now way over valuing them...just an observation.
  8. and only Donald Trump can rival him when it comes to self congratulations...but at least Williams merits it.
  9. Baseball was funner with people like Jimmy Piersall
  10. exactly. I keep trying to tell his supporters that there are literally hundreds of ex players who would be absolutely raking in low A if given the chance...but what's the point of giving a 30 yr old who washed out in double A that chance. It's his idiotic supporters who idolize him because of his faith that even allowed him to have a chance. It's quite irritating
  11. Over-rated by Sox fans. I think most baseball fans have a good perspective on him. Good player for a lot of years.
  12. I think I have read somewhere that it isn't against NCAA rules to give a car "loan" to a student with a very minimal monthly payment with a huge balloon payment at the end. Student athletes driving nice vehicles is rather common in power programs
  13. And a lot of the people who run the league say things like horsefeathers of America
  14. I coach Jr HI level football. 2 things that I often see that really bothers me. The first is the star player getting 25 carries a game than playing middle linebacker and getting 15 tackles a game. The 2nd is kids not learning how to tackle properly. Even at that age they are more concerned about the hit and not closing out well, head up, wrap up and drive to the ground. Both of these things seem to be widely accepted.
  15. I watched a bit of the UCLA/Mich game last night. Do I dislike little Alford because I know what jerk his dad is, or is he hatable on his own?
  16. This would be my 4 Seems pretty set at this point. No matter how much anyone tries to create controversy....this really is kind of cut and dry
  17. A Lot of ESPN talking heads putting Big Ten champ in over OSU. So they are advocating 2 of the top 4 teams in the country not making the playoffs.
  18. The entire game was terribly called. The refs only called PI against Michigan. ESPN surprisingly hasn't made that big of a deal about it. I figured they would CNN the heck out of it.
  19. losses to Illinois, Indiana, BYU
  20. Ohio state deserved to lose that game. 2 penalties for 6 yards are you kidding me? What I mean is that Michigan threw two dumb INT, committed a dumb PI, and let someone who was trapped 10 yards behind the LOS dance around and somehow get within a yard. You can't do that and expect to win. And Taco Charlton only gets outside contain when he is rushing the passer....he ucks in every time on the run
  21. Ohio state deserved to lose that game. 2 penalties for 6 yards are you kidding me? pretty blatant interference in OT.....but Michigan fell apart after the Harbaugh penaltybut Michigan's backside contain also wondered off. Keep contain...win game
  22. Ohio state deserved to lose that game. 2 penalties for 6 yards are you kidding me? pretty blatant interference in OT.....but Michigan fell apart after the Harbaugh penalty
  23. Michigan is the veteran team and just keeps making dumb mistakes
  24. agreed. I don't think any other coach in fb gets that penalty either. Dantonio does that stuff on a regular basis.
  25. I disagree. They weren't getting Jimbo or Herman and they wanted to save face by hiring the players' choice. Not exactly the best rationale for hiring a coach, granted, but in the end O should do well for LSU. As long as he is a CEO type coach and keeps recruiting like he does, LSU can pay assistants whatever they want to run the offense and defense. Hate to say it, but it was a good hire for them. I still think they put themselves in a bind by firing Miles mid season. But that being said your rationale is correct. Not a great candidate out there so just tread water with a popular guy. If it works you great, they can pull the plug on it anytime they want. I really think Michigan is kind of man handling OSU
