well, that's not exactly true. it's not not going to cure your cancer and let's not forget that this is essentially a human rights issue, since we're imprisoning millions of people for these ridiculous laws and spending quite a fortune to do so just to play devil's advocate, if you suddenly emptied the prisons of petty drug offenders, the unemployment problems would be even more unmanageable than it is now They said they same thing when they were debating abolishing slavery. I know that is an extreme example but the principle is the same.

Well only if they beat Seattle in a few weeks True, but it's in their hands still. Some things evident after the Saints game: The O-line is atrocious. Brown, Grubbs, De le Puente...blech. Malcolm Jenkins needs to get healthy in a hurry. He really makes up for some of the LB play in the run game and it showed today. Carolina is one game back and they have a team much like the Jets, only with a good QB. And we play them twice still.

Effing Bucs is right. What's going on with the Seahawks defense? Are they just having a midseason lapse or have teams seen a way to move the ball on them? Even after Seattle won today, the Saints still control their own destiny for home field.

In a terrible, terrible game for the Saints, that may be the worst play call Sean Payton has ever made. Third and inches and he runs a quick out pattern to the full back, then on 4th down a TE reverse with a guy who was on the practice squad a few weeks ago. EDIT: Is full back without a space really censored?

You don't think that the pharmaceutical lobby wants to keep it illegal because of it's easy availability without their involvement/profits? Any hippie can grow marijuana plants. yeah, but that's not exactly a conspiracy, it's just rich and powerful people trying to stay rich and powerful. smoking weed isn't going to cure your cancer and there's not some shadowy organization determined to let people die of cancer so they can keep selling advil Yeah, I do realize that it's CNN and Sanjay Gupta, but that documentary showed examples of cases similar to what I've read in articles recently. It does seem to have genuine medicinal value in cases of Parkinsons, epilepsy and just general quality of life during chemo.

It's like the couple I knew that got married on a Thursday because it was 4-20. Or the people who always buy these expensive sneakers because they're made out of hemp. I have smoked my share of weed in my day, but Jeebus, it's a [expletive] plant that grows in the ground. Get a life already.

The last year of the BCS is going to be the biggest cluster [expletive] of them all. There may be 3 bowl games with an undefeated team this year. Baylor isn't losing probably. Florida St isn't going to lose to Miami or Florida.
