    Even though I am the ONE person here who gives a frick, but Arkansas is playing some great basketball the last month. Tonight they scored 100 points with just under 10 minutes to play and were just up 50 on a not terrible Ole Miss team. Every game it's somebody else with a 20 point night, and not one of those nights has been from our best player, Portis. Keep it rolling Hogs.

    His arm always looked great to me. His arm got better this past season but he definitely doesn't have the type of arm you like to see with a top 10 pick. Exactly. He's not terrible at football or anything, it's just that some team (ahem, Cleveland) is going to pick him as their franchise savior and he's not capable of that.

    See, that's why I'm thinking, too. There are a ton of ifs to be answered, but there are also a ton of things that could make 2015 pretty damned exciting.

    I have no problem with calling Theo into question, but few if any are saying these things that you are putting in people's mouths. Most of us are pissed it's taking so long but we see a method to the madness. The rebuild is anything but fantasy. Whatever you think about anything else, the Cubs organization has a solid foundation of talent and coaching in the system. Now if all of this develops the way we hope, and then we don't sign a key free agent to put us into contention, then that's another story.

    First of all, there is actually a middle ground between bending over backwards to defend Theo and saying he "sucks ass". Most everyone has decided that while it sucks that the MLB team stinks, he does get a little bit more leash. You're the one that seems so damned certain how this is going down. Most everyone else is disappointed and but still is cautiously optimistic about the future. Settle down Francis.

    Exactly. It reminds me of the moronic Razorback fans who are comparing Bielema to Houston [expletive] Nutt after 1 season. It hasn't been one season. Also more than one squad. It's an entire organization that was needing an overhaul. And I don't think anyone is giving a pass. People have had patience when they look at the improvement organizationally, although that has an expiration date.

    I wish i rooted for a team thats only success over the last 4 years was a potential improvement in minor league instruction. Now that's just silly. And this is a false argument, comparing the first 3+ years of a organizational rebuild to the entire regime of Hendry. Apples and oranges at this point.

    The Manziel = Romo comparison seems way off to me. I don't think of those two as anything like each other. Really? I actually think that's a pretty good comparison for Manziel. Yeah. The big difference that sticks out to me is the running ability. I felt like Garcia was a better comparison - which he touched on, but discarded. Jeff Garcia was more accurate and less mobile. I think Romo is a pretty good comparison, for better or worse. I still think his game in the pros will be like Doug Flutie. Yes, Manziel is bigger, but so is everyone on defense too.
