    I would be surprised if they made it to 7 wins, but o/u of 7.5 wins is a gift? They surely will be decided underdogs vs Bama, LSU, USC and FSU. Vandy is the only other you listed where you an say right now they'd even be favored. Even the brutal schedule notwithstanding, I just don't understand what they have shown you that gives you optimism.

    Olt does not look great at first. Not terrible, but he misplayed a couple of balls including a one hopper from Watkins that would have been an error if it were not on a double play attempt. After that one, the stadium blared "Double Vision" by Foreigner over the speakers.

    Would actually love to hear what Rhee's velocity is and what his split looks like. FB 85-89 and getting solid contact. Touched 90 once. Offspeed 53-58 mph and nobody hitting it at all. KB 415 ft to Rt center!!!! And id it had hit someone they would killed them-a rope. Guessing this is 83-85? No. 53-58 mph on the gun. They are lollipops but still. Split now finding the plate and strikeout pitch.

    That's about how I see it, although UGA is a question mark for me. Everywhere is solid enough at least, except the new QB. I loved what I saw out of Worley for you guys last year until he hurt his hand. Tenn may surprise.

    Sort of like the New Orleans Zephyrs radio announcer the other night saying that Brett Jackson was one of our Top 5 prospects. They also said the KB was the top prospect in all of MiLB and Javy was #3.

    It's partly the loss of McCarron, but mostly the losses on defense. We just count on Saban to reload every season, but they lost a ton on defense. And while I don't think McCarron will do much in the pros, I do think he was seriously underrated as a college QB. That, and you guys are loaded this year. Just please beat LSU.

    He's "puffing himself up" by trying to justify his demotion from Wisconsin to Arkansas (yes, that's a downgrade) by comparing conferences. It's typical meatballery This is a discussion that will never go anywhere, but I'll bite. How is Wisconsin to Arkansas a downgrade? I would consider the programs to be of equal stature in their respective conferences and nationally, and there's not even a question about stepping up to a bigger, richer, better conference. The Hogs have sucked the last 2 years, but in the last 10 years they have twice been 1 late season loss away from playing for a National Title.     I looked at their tweets. What on earth are you talking about? Pretty average tweets for two white people. I don't follow his tweets anymore, but he seems to have toned his act down a bit, as has his wife. He has already gotten into a little twitter argument with 2 coaches in the SEC, and just generally been obnoxious.

    I am not in Arkansas to hear the talk radio goons, but the general consensus I think is that he should STFU. You can be an ass if you are winning, but another O for conference play will give the fans who already dislike him a reason to go after him. Bue the SEC is where the winners are! Winners like, oh wait winners like 7 of the last 8 years whilst your conference has 1 win in the last 15 years. You don't get the irony of a coach who won ZERO conference games puffing himself up by including himself with the "winners"? Beliema has shown his ass plenty in the last year, but I have no idea where you are seeing that he is "puffing himself up". He is a very well paid coach in the best football conference in the country. If he gets us back to respectability next year and bowling the next, he has every right to do so then.

    Jen Beliema better thank her lucky stars that she is attractive. The tweets by both of them is a great example of what is strating to irritate folks in Arkansas.

    #karma I have seen this before but don't get it, but then again I don't get the whole hash tag thing anyway. I get that you guys don't like Beliema, but he still gets another year at Ark before I start to really worry.

    Are you saying that you think aTm and LSU are better than Bama and Auburn?

    They won last year solely by their offensive prowess. 7 teams scored over 30 points against them and 4 teams scored over 40. Losing Manziel and Evans...that offense is gonna be hard pressed to outscore anyone with their atrocious defense. I second this. That team was Manziel, Evans and a great O-line. Now that's gone and they won't have the offense to compensate for that awful defense. aTm comes crashing back to Earth this season in a bad way. Their young talent is still a year or two away from bringing them back. EDIT: I think OM beats one of Bama or Auburn this year.

    Ole Miss finally has the SEC caliber defense to match a solid offense, especially on the D-line. Keep in mind that LSU and Bama are starting new QBs this year, and reports are that the Tide QB has looked really bad so far. The wild card here is Auburn. I still am not sold on their QB, and even a fans of theirs would admit that they were probably the luckiest team in the country last year. Defenses will adjust to Gus' scheme at some point. The homer in me says that Arkansas showed a ton of improvement over last season (hard not to) and the team will be that much better adjusting to Beliema's complete change in style and scheme. South Carolina may be the class of the whole conference this year.
